Easy to swallow, effective for my skin and nails

Two of these daily (divided doses) quickly heals and dries up fever blisters on the lips.

I didnt pay attention to the label so I failed to note that each capsule is 500 units vs. the 1,000 I originally thought. However, it is nothing to worry about....swallowing 2 at a time is easy with these capsules. The bottle is HUGE but I consider it to be a very good value and will buy again whenever I finish this one......next year or so maybe!

The freeform caplets can be hard to find happy to find these at this dose and quantity.

The Label and the above written description by Amazon can be misleading. The way I read it. The tablets are 1,000 mg. But - They are not. After deciphering the back label. Theyre only 500mg per tablet. Amazon and the 3rd party company should up date theyre labeling. The customer should know what theyre buying/paying for. I wont buy this again...I feel it was intentional.

item is of good quality and easy to swallow

Most OTC Lysine tablets are just that. Hard Tablets. These are capsules rather big but extremely easy to swallow. As far as effectiveness, I have found that they work just as well as other brands I have purchased.

Bottle is enormous, too large to fit on my kitchen counter, but product does what I want, helps stop my shingles out breaks.

I have always take L-Lysine and it can be really expensive. I am very happy with this product because it is reasonably priced for a good quality.

Would have been a good buy, but the deal was discolored and looked like water damage so I had to toss the entire bottle. The storage conditions and quality control perhaps needed to be looked at for that batch.
