This Ounce of prevention is worth a TON of cure! Always use on all electrical connections to shield and repeal water and corrosion on all with connections! I used quite a bit when assembling my Hawk Dual-Sport motorcycle here on AMAZON. You can have the same amount of fun your neighbor is on his or her Japanese motorcycle, for half the price! Made in China scares people, but China had purchased all the 1980s motorcycle tooling, and re-created the same Honda engine for less than half of the price. The main thing to know is Always use this on all out-door electrical wires, yes, even motorcycle electrical connections.

Used this on a stubborn electrical connection for golf cart charger, seemed to work well.

I gave it 5 stars because I have no reason not to. How do you really know that its good dielectric grease in less than a couple weeks? Ill check back in 40,000 miles when I change my spark plugs again.

Dielectric grease is used to ensure electrical connections are corrosion free and have a good electron transfer. I keep this on hand for all my car batteries or any battery that might corroded over time, such as a remote control. This size was an excellent value! Save yourself frustration trying to diagnose a battery issue by using this. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

My main use for this was for the contact points on the 7-pin connector for my trailer. It also gets used occasionally for other electric contact points like battery terminals and bulbs and such. And since its Permatex it does what its made for.

Easy to use product. I apply it to all my DC electrical connections on boat and car. The boat operates in saltwater which is hard on wiring and connections. This product has prevented corrosion on every application. I use this exclusively and will continue purchasing it.

I put an electric assist motor on my bicycle some time back and have been worried that moisture might get into the cable connections and cause issues. I consulted my bike shop and they told me to use this product. Its not as viscous as I thought it would be, but it stays put. So far, I havent rain tested it, but I expect it will protect the electrical connections very well.
