Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, 3 oz. Tube

Works exactly like it should. I used it when doing spark plug changes on a V8 and I still have enough to do it 20 more times I bet so Its a great size for the money.

It’s dielectric grease. If you don’t know what it is or used for you don’t need it. If you do know. Buy it. Good quality and a large amount of it.

I was in search of a bottle of this stuff, instead of the stupid little packets you get at the auto parts store. Something that I could find later, that will store well, etc. This took care of it.

This product comes in an easy to use tube to coat the battery terminals and connections.

Yet again Permatex makes a fantastic product. I used this along side the Permatex anti-seize lube during my spark plug install on a 07 Mazda 3. Dielectric grease is used for protection over electrical connections in your vehicle. This stuff is magic! I applied it on the spark plug boot to protect it from the elements, salt, dirt and corrosion. Per their website: Extends the life of bulb sockets. Prevents voltage leakage around any electrical connection. Also prevents spark plugs from fusing to boots. Required for modern high energy ignition systems. Dont hesitate to put this in your tool box and make it part of your routine maintenance. This 3oz tube will go a long long ways and well worth the cost to know its protecting the critical components of my car.

Great Dielectric grease for electrical connections. Just the right thickness so it wont run off but still flows nicely. I bought this can over a typical tube because I thought it might be easier to store cleanly and be ready to use when needed. Not really the case, since the applicator tip stores next to the cap and is full of grease. I dont understand why, with just a little more thought, a more sanitary applicator setup could be provided with these grease products. I ended up designing my own tip applicator and made one with my 3D printer that works perfectly and remains on the tip at all times and stores under the factory cap. Now Im really happy with my new grease! Maybe these guys will do something like this for the rest of you some day.
