> 24 hourI had only purchased the Hue standard A19 bulbs in the past, but we recently moved and buying a few new lamps, so I decided to try the “Ambiance” white bulbs. Being able to adjust the warmth or coolness of the bulb is actually a very nice feature, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my purchase. I would highly recommend.

> 24 hourI feel I must warn you, these lights are addictive. These lights work very well and it can be tempting to put them in everything. I have Hue Smart Bulbs in my Living Room, Kitchen, and Family Room. These bulbs work best in places where the light switch might be difficult or inconvenient to reach. They are great for lamps in the corner or large rooms with lights control by multiple switches. I dont recommend them for lights controlled by switches you naturally turn on and off as you walk by; entry lights, bedrooms, laundry room. Because you need to leave the light switch on for the smart bulbs to work you dont wont someone accidentally turning them off. The light quality from the bulbs is fantastic. The dim feature has a very wide and nuanced ranged. The Hue App makes controlling all of the lights very easy. The Hue App has a fantastic feature of directly connecting to your Hue Bridge when you are on the same network. This makes controlling your lights through the app very responsive and easy. The control is near instantaneous. Hue has also made the control software for the lights open to everyone. Dont worry, no one will be able to hack your lights. To add new lights and devices you have to physically press a button on the Hue Bridge. But this means the Hue Bulbs have a ton of interconnection with other smart devices and platforms. I am able to pair my lights with my smart thermostat, smart doorbell, and home security system.

> 24 hourI bought these to work with a Hunter fan that has a remote that controls speed and light level. On installation, both lights started flashing/strobing. Really disappointed. I got these ti work specifically with Alexa. Standard A19s work fine, according Akexa to dim them. I had to move these to regular ceiling light fixture in order to get the additional feature of color warmness to function. $25.00 per lightbulb and they wont function with Alexa properly with the top brand Hunter fan. I wanted to try out bulbs that changed color but now that purchase is on hold. Will it function as it should? I dont trust it.

> 24 hourBought 4 of these to replace the generic cool white bulbs in our master bedroom ceiling fan. The lights work perfect and would get 5 stars except for two issues: too expensive ($25 each when purchased in two packs), questionable CRI (Philips doesnt publish the CRI of these bulbs at any temperature, but based on their white bulbs it is nothing special, just >80 which is the standard of generic LED bulbs). Purchased with the Hue dimmer switch, which I also reviewed: https://www.amazon.com/review/R2MYUBAH8UHZ36/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8
