I have now tried all 4 pens, even though I truly only needed the fiberglass. The brass and steel pens hold up fine, but its not a great idea to just start scratching away at things with metal. The nylon brush is useless. You might as well get a $1 kids paint brush, because you will not scratch away anything with the soft edges of this nylon. Finally, the fiberglass pen. I was trying to remove about a 1in x 0.5in section of circuit board coating and it did NOTHING to remove that coating. By the time I scraped away the top coat with a separate, metal spudger, I went back to the fiberglass to polish. POOF. The whole section tried to disappear into the pen. Fished It out with tweezers and clamped the holding section so tight I could barely get the pen tip back on. First round back at it, a little resistance then the whole thing disappeared again. If youre going to need the fiberglass specifically, DO NOT BUY THIS PACKAGE. Spend a few extra dollars and get a quality product that will last AT LEAST a single use.

I got these to repair dings and dents on my cars paint jobs but I cant say they work. I watched a lot of videos on how to use them but either Im not a pro, or they just need a professional hand. Would not recommend at all unless you think you can figure it out.

It should do the job but its a cheap quality item, I would not buy again. One of the 4 pens was defective.

I have used these to clean up old model locomotives. Cleaning the motor from dirt with the fiberglass pencil and the corrosion off with the brass or steel. They work well, clean things off very easily and they arent difficult to use. Quality is a little lack luster though. The nylon pencil wouldnt extend until I took off the front end. And the steel got stuck on retraction. Both was fixed by removing the front end, making the bristles straight, and putting the front end back on. The cheap, plastic feel also makes me worried about how they will hold up over long term use. No instructions on how to replace the bristles with the spares is also an issue. All in all I would say they are decent, you get what you pay for though.

Not worth the money. My own fault. I should have spent the extra few bucks and bought a quality product

I do a lot of SMD rework and find these really handy for cleaning up copper, pads and lands. I mostly use the fiberglass brush, but the others find occasional use. Very nice set. 5 stars.

Got these for my daughter for Christmas, for her clay sculpting. She loves them! Pretty cool product for getting textures.
