> 3 dayMaybe the steel and brass pens are.. Ok.. Kinda.. But the fiberglass does nothing, Nothing at all. Wont even scratch a PCB. Youll regret the purchase if PCB solder mask removal is at all why you are purchasing,. GOOD LUCK.

> 3 dayWas looking to replace fiberglass pen from as far back as Radio Shack. Liked the pen function so decided on this set. Metals (brass and steel) are too thin to be practical.

Greater than one weekIt is apparent when opening these that they are the lowest grade products of their type. In the first set I received, the Brass Bristle mechanism didnt push up. So I ordered a replacement. The replacement came today and now I see that the one labelled Steel Bristle is actually not steel. It is a second nylon or fiberglass bristle. I am debating whether to even bother ordering a replacement. Just be aware that they are of extremely low quality.

Greater than one weekAll the brushes work as intended. Ive used the fiberglass for cleaning corrosion off of electrical contacts, The nylon one for general cleaning, The brass for getting gunk out of metal parts, The steel for removing rust spots. An improvement that could be made: a plastic tray holder instead of the flimsy pouch. Would just fit better on a workbench or in a toolbox.

Greater than one weekThe brass and steel are simply too soft to be useful for what you would use it for. The two stars were removed because I had to open all of them to clear out extra plastic in the threads otherwise they were impossible to use.

> 3 dayThese are being used as one treatment when removing encrustations from ancient coins. They are used with little pressure in a circular motion and work very well.
