> 24 hourI used these to sense if a garage door was open or closed. I replaced some un-reliable (cheap) ones that kept causing false signals. These care used with an automation system and false readings caused problems like the doors opening in the night. These new sensors have been great and spot on reliable for weeks now. Very highly recomended if reliability and stability are important to you. These are also very adjustable and also work well at a gap upto 2.

> 24 hourI expected this to be a complete unit. It does not contain the electronic part that attaches to the wall. I cant use it without the electronics. The electronic motherboard on the wall is larger than the one on my other contacts, and I have not found a way to order a replacement for that. Until I do it is dead in the water and useless.

> 24 hourWorks great, easy install. Using it with an ESP8266 micro to control and sense garage door open and closure. Used a MCP23017 I2C chip and a 5V relay top operate door and the same MCP23017 to sense when the door is actually closed. Could not be happier with the end result.

> 24 hourWorks fine but the one I received was NOT normally open as some of the answers to that question said.... it was normally closed. It did read 59A on the package. No big problem but, since I was connecting this to my home automation computer whose scripts I had written for an NO contact, I had to go back and change all of them. It works well, however, and appears well made for the price.
