> 3 dayWorks fine but the one I received was NOT normally open as some of the answers to that question said.... it was normally closed. It did read 59A on the package. No big problem but, since I was connecting this to my home automation computer whose scripts I had written for an NO contact, I had to go back and change all of them. It works well, however, and appears well made for the price.

06-04-2025I used these to create a raspberry pi based garage door alert for when the doors are left open accidentally. So far, so good. I removed the magnetized bar from the bracket and attached it directly to the top edge of the door. Besides the screws and washers holding the bar to the bracket, there are no mounting screws, so youll need some for the receiver and bracket.

> 3 dayWorks great, easy install. Using it with an ESP8266 micro to control and sense garage door open and closure. Used a MCP23017 I2C chip and a 5V relay top operate door and the same MCP23017 to sense when the door is actually closed. Could not be happier with the end result.
