I needed to plug in my microphone, external hard drive, printer, usb mouse and usb keyboard. Now I can. So far, it is working great. I am leaving a thumb drive plugged in to backup and transfer files to a customer, and all I have to do is turn it off without unplugging it. When I am finished with my project, I will eject and unplug the Thumb Drive. Otherwise, i would have to unplug and re-plug everything constantly--made everything much more convenient. Its a year later, and Im still happy with this product. I bought a second one for my other computer.

The charging port doesnt really charge.... kinda disappointed. Everything else works. Lights are bright.

Works as promised, long cord

This USB hub is a solution to managing my multiple USB devices. I usually connect multiple external hard disk drives and USB flash drives to a Mac-mini, but all these devices do not need to be is used at the same time. The on/off push buttons allow activation of a device and a blue light will shine when a USB port is activated. The addition of a power port is also a benefit when using the hub to charge a device using the USB interface. This port thankfully lights in red so as not to mistake it for a standard USB communication port.

I only like to use powered usb hubs and not bus powered. This hub has been working flawlessly for 2 months now. It powers 2 laser printers without any issue and the charging port that glows red works like a charm. Thanks for a nice well made product.

This is a very good device if you want to control your USB devices by plugging them back and forth. I use it with a camera so that I can turn on the camera instantly whenever I need to go through video calls and then shut the device again without the hassle of plugging and unplugging. That red port is also really capable of charging mobile devices quickly. The cable is also long enough so that you have more freedom in placing this device. The led are bright but it is in another corner of room which doesnt bother me. You can also use it without the external power supply but it might drain your battery.
