Actually can power your external monitor and storage thanks to the separate power. Suitable for PC set up but not on-the-go also because of that reason. Works fine in my set up powering 3 external HDDs and mouse, keyboard without any problem

This product feels good to the touch and feels quality. The bright light indicators make it a great addition to any gaming setup. Ive been using this for about a month and its been working great so far. When you power up the hub, all the USB lights turn on. I wish instead all the ports would be turned off or there was a switch to customize what you want to happen. A single click to turn a port on and a long hold to turn it off which is great.

USB 3.0 transfer speeds are maximum 20-30MB/s (usb 2.0 speeds) and only sustained for a few seconds. Then down to 0 then up again then back to 0 and many times loses connection failing the transfer. I thought maybe power was an issue so I purchased a set of usb female to dual male for more power but no change. I tested the same usb storage devices directly to the laptop and a pc and I get 100-250MB/s . My usb devices range from a 2.5 inch 500GB sata ssd with sata to usb 3.0 adapter to an NVME to usb 3.0 enclosure and mSATA to usb 3.0 device. I am looking for a replacement for this now. My tip, if you decide to buy this, test it ASAP on USB 3.0!! You might decide to return it.

Works well for charging and as a hub. I use this for an atgames legends pro gaming system. I use the red port to power the atgames puck. I have a USB flash drive in one of the other ports and I connect the controllers to another USB port. It works really well and I no longer need a separate power supply for the puck.
