Greater than one weekWorks well for charging and as a hub. I use this for an atgames legends pro gaming system. I use the red port to power the atgames puck. I have a USB flash drive in one of the other ports and I connect the controllers to another USB port. It works really well and I no longer need a separate power supply for the puck.

Greater than one weekI bought 2 of these for my office. One is still working fine. ONe has only 1 USB that still works. It is disappointing. I try to stay with Anker products but could not find one for this purpose.

> 3 dayAt first, it was great. I was loving having these extra USB ports. But about a few hours later, while in discord (a voice chat with multiple people), while chatting with friends, they all started to yell and freak out that my mic was making a very loud, displeasing sound. At first I thought maybe it was the headset, but when I plugged it into my computer, they said they didnt hear any loud static and it sounded great. But when I plugged it back into the USB hub, the yelling to mute my mic started again. I tried plugging my mouse into the hub instead of the headset (I have limited USB ports in my laptop so i can only have one or the other plugged in) it worked at first. But after a few minutes, my mouse stopped responding, I would power down and power back up the port my mouse was in and it would just happen again. Tried to unplug it all and plugging it back in and had the same issues. If you are planning to use this for a mouse or headset, keep looking. This will only support them for a few minutes before your friends shriek in pain from your headset blowing up the voice chat and youll get very angry trying to move a non-responsive mouse after unplugging and plugging it back in over and over. Not worth it and returning. P.S. I ordered the larger Atolla USB hub after this one wouldnt work, and had the same exact issues. I am now on my 3rd USB hub, this time a different brand. Wish me luck!

> 3 dayThe hub can supply 5A (up to 25 W) to all four ports. The red port is only for power and is best for recharging external equipment. I am using that port to power the cooling fans under my Laptop. And each port can be switch on or off with a toggle button, making it ideal to deactivate USB devices without removing. I had to buy this powered USB hub to resolve a problem with an external Seagate 5 TB drive (purchased here at Amazon), because my HP Pavilion laptop didnt see the drive under Windows. I strongly recommend using this powered USB hub for al external disk drives.
