It was straightforward in saying what it would do and not do and it fixed my computer in about 20 minutes. I havent done many reviews, but this really was worth it to me to let some know that this disc can bring a computer back to life. Give it a try, follow directions and after its inserted, just do a restart and the disc will do the rest. Good Luck!

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. I bought to repair 3 old desktops, 2 of 3 went perfectly, 3rd had hardware damage. So not the disks fault it did not work.

Honestly this is beyond misleading and unforgivable. The listing clearly says it can restore to factory settings, and then the CD case that it comes with has a note that says, this amazon listing clearly says that we do not reinstall windows like what. dont waste your time. it wont restore to factory settings. im pissed i wasted my time over this dumb thing

Not sure what it was supposed to do, but its been stuck in this screen for two days. I cant even get it to boot up so that I can try recovery/format/backup. And I also found out that it DOES NOT HAVE WINDOWS 7 to reinstall or recover with your machines Microsoft product code. So Im still gonna have to figure out a way to install an operating system if I can ever get it to boot up.
