I fractured my kneecap and in doing so banged up my entire leg - these have been a lifesaver! I didn’t think I needed 2, but so glad I ordered the two pack! I can travel with one and have one waiting in the freezer when I get home. They take a couple hours to freeze from room temperature (less if you put it back in the freezer as it starts to cool) but if you need to alternate ice packs frequently being able to alternate them is very convenient! I frequently go to bed with it on because it cools enough after to not worry about icing too long but also make me comfortable to be able to go to sleep. I like the two sides - the softer side for milder icing (like wrapping an ice pack in a towel) or the smooth side for intense icing. Some reviews complained the straps are too long - better too long than too short! It makes them flexible to use on whatever body part you need it for. Because so much of my leg needed icing I turned it diagonally to cover more and still was able to crisscross the straps to hold it at an unusual angle. Minor point, but the reusable freezer bags were a bonus to throw it back in the freezer without having to worry about it being in with my frozen food

Just had knee surgery and wanted a good easy way to ice the knee in recovery. These work great. I bought two because I need to uses frequently. Freeze time is min two hours after used for effectiveness but first time freeze overnight. It says four hours and that probably works too.
