Love the 2 pack - recovery from knee surgery and this is perfect. Use one while other one in freezer. The Velcro is great and hold the ice packs in place. Only comment is feel like they get cold but don’t stay cold as long. Gave 4 stars as this is well made and they stay in place. And way better than using ziplock bags of ice. Would recommend.

I needed a way to ice both knees after a reaction. Compared to putting on an ice pack and trying to hold it while winding an ACE bandage around it (3 hand problem), this was orders of magnitude better. Not only does it go on fast, but it also sorta stays put if you need to move around. The biggest negative is that the edges of the ice pack are kinda sharp (seam welded plastic sheeting) and depending on how the pad sits, the edge can dig into your skin on the low (foot) side of the pad. I find I can manipulate it a bit to pull the seam away, but largely it is a mental process to ignore. They can also slip down, but that usually just means you need to tighten the straps. Mobility is not great as you have to walk stick-legged, but compared to alternatives, it is great. As others have noted, the fuzzy side doesnt feel as cold as the smooth side. I find I can start on the fuzzy side and then flip around for the colder side once the shock of putting it on is over. If they could solve the sharp edge issue, these would be 100%. But even with it, give these serious consideration if you want a fast, reliable, hands-free way to ice knees.

I recently had knee surgery and have needed to ice my knee constantly. I like the fact that it is reversible. It has a felt/soft side and also a plastic side. You can use it directly on the skin with the soft side and over a compression brace with the plastic side. It does not take long for it to refreeze.

Used only one time. It went on very easily but doesnt stay cold very long. I had it in the freezer for a couple of day so thought it would stay cold much longer. While it was cold, felt very good.

He had a swollen knee and he needed to apply cold therapy. Worked well.

Two sides are a nice option. The side with fabric is so soft and feels wonderful.

Stays in place

This is absolutely the best gel ice pack. I have two of these. I just had knee replacement surgery on my left knee. I was given a gel pack from the hospital. I used it once but did not like it. I would recommend this to everyone who has a need for a gel ice pack for the knee. Five stars and beyond!!

Big enough to wrap most of knee, Velcro straps are long and tied firmly.
