> 24 hourThese bearings dont seem to spin as freely as I hoped. Not sure if its due to the amount of lubrication but these are not smooth at all. For example you could use them in a fidget spinner but dont expect it to actually spin. Very tight so for that Im rating it lower.

> 24 hourIts 608 bearings in a pack of 20, its pretty much exactly what it says. Came in 2 of those plastic tubes that are barely better than just shrink wrapping them but thats fine, thats all I needed :)

> 24 hourClean these bearing out with acetone or similar solvent and they will work pretty good. My uses are under low Load, toys or low rpm applications so I can not comment on high load applications. The 5 star rating is my rating of these performance vs the price. If you are expecting high precision bearing you will need to spend more per bearing.

> 24 hourUsed these in a small lawn windmill. Only needed 2 but have plenty of spares.

> 24 hourIm not sure if its the batch I got and the heat melted the plastic (doubtful being in Northeast), but these are okay. It was very sticky and barely spun, but after letting them soak in a couple sprays of T-9, they were spinning... but not spinning the way Id expect bearings to, but the minimum amount. I purchased these for my Powermatic PWBS-14 Bandsaw, and they fit and match for a fraction of the cost from buying them directly from Powermatic. If purchasing again, Id try another company.

> 24 hourIve used these for around a year in a few applications and overall if youre looking for something low speed with radial only (no axial) load then these will probably be fine. Anything high speed (greater than around 200 rpm) will quickly destroy the bearings and anything with any axial load will quickly destroy the internal balls. I used these in a cnc router as guide for lead screws and the axial load destroyed them in less than 20 total hours of use.

> 24 hourYou’re probably looking at these because they have a good price point, which they do. And that really low price point is the only reason they’re not even more lowly rated. The bearings come heavily coated with grease - enough that it actually hinders rotation. It seems like this is done because it also hides imperfections in the bearings. After clearing the bearings they rotate much more freely, but have a definite wobble to some of them. I compare them to a 20 year old set of real ABEC 7 bearings in my rollerblades and these are definitely not ABEC 7. So, if you’re looking for some bearings for a robotics project where they’re on an idler pulley, these are fine. But if you think you’re gonna drop these into a board or skates, keep looking.

> 24 hourI used these for demo motors to show kids how things work. The first thing I did was pull the grease covers (shields) off and wash the bearing with acetone to clean them. Be aware that the set that I purchased did not come packed with grease, which for me was great - less cleaning. I want the kids to see how the bear works. The great thing is that still today after thousands of rotations and hours of running time, none have failed.
