I bought the 2TB a year ago in February 2022 in the hopes that it was actually 2TB. I opened it a year later cause a mechanical drive failed and was a good time to install a new SSD. What I recieved was a second hand drive that someone peeled the label and stuck it on their old drive, this case was a 250GB variant, and asked Amazon for their money back and I got stuck with a smaller capacity drive then what I paid for. Now Im stuck with a 250 GB drive when I wanted a 2TB. I noticed something was amiss when I installed the drive and Windows immediately gave it a drive letter without me activating the drive. I inspected the drive and the label had been tampered with. Please watch out for these products!

Like Title states . Was initially mistaken into believing an adaptor was required but upon failure w/ adaptor further inspection revealed matching screw holes already present in mounting bracket previously installed on PC .
