I didnt want to have to lose everything or do a recovery once it finally broke down. My goal was to clone the existing contents of that drive onto this one, so that I could preserve not only its installed programs and documents, but also its bootable state. I have to say, the Samsung Evo came through for me, and I feel like Im using a brand new device - and a brand new device thats running Windows 7, at that :-)

> 3 dayThe 1TB 870 QVO drive is not suited for a ps4 pro. I know, I tried it. Loading is slower for digital only games like the last of us two. Spend the extra money and get this 1TB 870 EVO drive. Digital only PS4 Pro games will load faster noticeably quicker. And the endurance factor is something to consider over the QVO.

> 3 dayThe failed SSD had only 50% capacity utilized when it started to fail on me, so before a total disaster happened I replaced it with this new model. I like the reaction speed of these SSDs and the price is reasonable. Would like more life from them. Will see how this newer version holds up.

Greater than one weekA few months after purchase I noticed that some of my data became unreadable when doing my backup. Taking a look at the Magician utility revealed that the drive was encountering an awful lot of ECC errors. Since the return window was already over and apparently theres no proper warranty in Canada for the drive either (thats what Canada Version means) I decided to keep it around to see whether its just some blocks that were damaged from the get go.
