Yo vengo de un disco duro y primer solido es este Samsung y la diferencia fue muy notable al encender mi equipo con el solido instalado. Para aquellos que quieren cambiar su HDD a un SSD se les recomienda en lo absoluto y lo hagan lo antes posible. Como recomendación les sugiero Samsung pero si no se cuenta con mucho dinero hay alternativas como un Crucial o Western Digital.

> 3 dayActually, better than new. I installed this in an old HP desktop (i5, 8GB, Windows 10) that would take close to 2 minutes to boot up and have the icons on the desktop. I used a USB3 to SATA cable to transfer the data and used the data migration tool from Samsung. Plug in the drive, start the migration tool and 30 minutes later it had cloned the drive. I then unplugged the spinning drive and plugged in the SSD. Boot time from power on to desk top icons is now under 15 seconds. Starting up an Internet browser (IE, Fire Fox, Chrome) is substantially faster.

06-04-2025This 500gb SSD ended up in my new parts inventory. I really like the Samsung SSDs and I have purchases many in the past. I recommend this Samsung 870 EVO SATA 2.5 Internal SSD to any one looking for a good SSD

> 3 dayI switched out an HDD for this SSD. The software that comes with the SSD made the transfer easy and quick. I should have done this a long time ago as life is so much better with the SSD. The system runs so much quicker and accessing files almost instantly.
