> 24 hourMake sure you install the samsung software or crystal disc after you install. These drives have a life span of approx 600 tb of written data. This drive came with 183 tb of data written on it and only 170 hours of use. This had to have been used for chia mining before the price collapsed. Amazon needs to do a better job of checking the returns it receives.

> 24 hourThe Samsung 980 SSD is kind of interesting, because it lacks the EVO and PRO labels, and apparently, it is also DRAM-less. For most casual users and even gamers, this doesnt really matter. As evidenced by the attached CrystalDiskMark screenshot, this drive is fast, and it has a 300 TBW endurance rating, which is pretty standard and should last most people a long time. If you have an older SSD from 2015 thats still kicking, then 300 TBW is probably going to be fine.
