SAMSUNG T5 Portable SSD 1TB - Up to 540MB/s - USB 3.1 External Solid State Drive, Black (MU-PA1T0B/AM)

Its been working just fine so far, as I would expect from anything branded Samsung on it. It came with the two cables as promised, UBC C to C and A to C, which was very important to me as my old computer only has A ports and my new one only has C ports. I formated it in MAC OS Journaled, and its been super fast compared to my old HHD drives. A bit expensive, I must say, but I cant complain.

This t5 drive will not let you transfer files from your PC to your pixel phone. It lets you format for an Android file system and Windows is able to load files onto it in the same way you can load files onto your pixel via USB cable. When connected to the phone via USB cable the phone cannot see the t5. Its useless.

Having lost data like most people due to failed external hard drives, I decided to go to a solid state hard drive that is more robust. This product is not cheap. But, when you consider that for $350 you are able to keep from replacing 5 x $100 failed drives, it makes sense economically. But, another main factor in my decision was the read/write speed that is about 10X faster than my previous drives. Solid state has no read arm trying to find info on a spinning disk. No moving parts! Worth every penny!

Got to replace a USB HD that I use for travel. This is smaller and faster. Cant argue with that

Im a huge fan of these SSDs. They are very compact, dont overheat during large data transfers, look great, and have terrific read/write speeds. I edit video directly off of these harddrives and use them for storing project files. I cant recommend Samsung external SSDs enough.

This is small but super fast and reliable. Although it is a little pricey, I would buy it again.
