Viel Platz mit 4 TB, optisch passend zur Konsole, leise, wird sofort erkannt, plus 2 Monate Ultimate. Aber leider leider kann man manche Titel nicht rüberschieben. Z.B. Forza Horizon, Halo, GTA 5, Far Cry 5 und 6, Cyber Punk, Flight Simulator etc. etc. Benötigen alle den schnelleren internen Speicher. Wenn der aber wie bei der Series s zu klein ist und es ihn nicht größer gibt...traurig das man nicht gleich Konsolen mit zeitgemäßem Speicher verkauft.

Can Recommend!! This is my 8th Seagate Drive, one lasted 4.5 years after heavy use on XBOX ONE S (the 4TB green portable game drive) and the rest are still in use. Bought this (8TB game drive) as a backup for media and general files for long-term storage. Contrary to Q&As, it works fine on PC, works out at £15 per TB (purchased at £120), so worked out great value, even compared to internal 3.5 drives. Usually for a HDD in mid-2021 its around £20-25+ per TB. Western Digital has also been reputable to be fair but their similar external drive was around £40-50 more. Overall, Ive just installed it and am starting backups, I will update later if needed but can recommend. Also, its industry standard to get less capacity than stated in marketing i.e. real life 1 TB = 1,024 GB, and manufactures assume 1TB = 1000 GB, they use standard base-10 numbers that people are more familiar with. Im used to this so discount any low review with this as a reason. Also actual capacity is effected by how the drive is formatted. Also, SMR is fine for me (the way it writes data, once the drive is full, it slows down somewhat when replacing data), if you need faster then get a NAS Drive like the IronWolf for high Capacity but be warned they are designed to always be on, and are much more expensive. And just a last note, I assumed my fastest USB ports would be the front panel of my PC but nope, so make sure you are using on the fastest port available, tested on a USB.3.2 port. Gave Portability 5 Stars as it is designed for desktop use, also its fine to move, just remember it needs external power.

Dopo qualche settimana di utilizzo si mostra un ottimo prodotto. A seconda del materiale sul quale si è posato potrebbe generare un po’ di rumore che può disturbare se magari l’xbox sta scaricando in background. Per il resto ottimo e buone velocità di lettura e scrittura che non danno segni di rallentamenti quando usato. Vedremo quanto durerà nel tempo

Suddenly stopped working after 5 years, you can feel the HDD turning but the light shines no more, my laptop recognises it but cant access it Good while it lasted, although you can play games from it on the original Xbox, Xbox series X only allows you to store games on it

I was tired about managing games on my internal HDD and my two external HDD (respectly 1To and 2TO 25 HDD in USB3.0 and the 1To of the internal HDD) because Im a huge gamer on Xbox One, I have ton of games from Xbox Originals, Xbox 360 and now Xbox One with all the low prices of games in promotion or free with games with gold (for Xbox Live Gold Members, 4 games free every month !) and now with Gamepass its a lot of game to play ... And I dont want to made choice, I want to play my game now and not waiting it is downloading because I was obligate to delete it to have more space ... so with 8To, you will be quiet untill the next generation ! I allready put all my HDD content on it and I have 4,2 To ! It is more speed than a 25 HDD, it is well design, just it made a little bit of noise but its not to high ! For me its definitively the best solution to storage game on console ! I recommand it ! And I have it for a great price ! 150 euro ! The price of 4To with the double of capacity ! Great !

I moved this over to a new ps5, formatted exfat and it wouldnt format on ps5 even though it was recognized. Some people have said they got their external drives to work by plugging in via usb-c to front panel. Problem is this drive uses the wide usb 3 data cable, so to test that would require the wide usb 3 data cable to usb c adaptor which I dont have. It works fine as an Xbox drive or for pc where you can format it ntfs or exfat

Regards towards Amazon have been great since I became a member. However receiving an item that is not the color advertised and that says Xbox on it, which is not favored to someone that experienced the ring of death with their last Xboxs. This item also fits a description like what is sold through Ebay.
