My son has a 500GB xbox one and had to delete games to use the news one he had acquired. In others words he had run out of space for new games. The new xbox is not yet affordable so this was a reasonably priced solution. He just plugged it in with the usb and within a very short time he was using it. Very simple to use and it does the job. It holds up to 2TB and it looks good. He is well pleased. This is a good way of expanding the storage on the xbox one.

Seagate is a very reliable product so when I needed an external hard drive for my Xbox One X I decided to go for the game pass Xbox version as its meant to be plug and play. the delivery service was very quick and when it arrived it was simple to install as it described all you need to do is plug and play, the reason for the overall 4 stars after only 1 week it decided to stop working and one of my games just wouldnt load. I decided to reinstall back onto my console and the game worked fine this is why I knew it was the external drive, I took out the extra insurance as I always do, but speaking with amazon they provided me with a replacement no problems and my insurance is still active and not been used, this one I have is working fine and no problems, just being careful that sometimes the external hard drive can stop working and you may need to get a replacement, hopefully, this one works longer as they actual storage is great.

I bought this product as I had a very low amount of storage left. When buying this product I bought the 8tb version as I was going to be downloading a large number of games. Unfortunately, when the product arrived it was American plugs so I needed a converter for the plug. Another disappointment was that not all the storage is promised, I bought the 8tb thinking I was going to get it all but it turned out that there was 7.2tb although that is still plenty! If you are planning to buy this product just watch out but apart from that everything was great!

Plugged it into my Xbox One S, turned on the Xbox and before logging in I got the options to use the drive for media or to format it to use for new games and it formatted in just a few seconds. After that I logged in and went into the Store - Redeem and entered the two included codes and got two months of Game Pass Ultimate worth £21.98p which expanded my existing subscription to January 2021. There is a an LED on the top which is permanently lit and flashes when the drive is in operation. No criticisms at all which is unusual for me. Overall a good buy and a well deserved 5 stars.

I have had this for around 6 months, I probably play Xbox a couple times a month at most and just went to turn it on today and it no longer shows up. I’d highly suggest getting a different hard drive

Every Xbox One X owner should have one, easy to install. 1Tb is not enough these days as games/digital games get more bulky with DLC or updates and with 4k content. You also have the ability to plug other devices into the 3.0 USB ports, these are on the front of the hub for easy access. this a 8tb and after moving all of the Fallout 4/76, Division, Destiny2 includes all DLCs, For Honour, Red Redemption, Mass effect 4 and a few other games PUBG and Fortnight War frame…. I have only used 10% of the drive! this has left my Xbox One X with just the apps that came with it with about 95% space free. Fantastic buy.

Well I’m writing this review because this external storage is really good been needing to get a bigger storage for my Xbox one s for to transfer over to the Xbox series x/s but i need to ask a question but I got the 4tb hard rice and when it came it said 4tb but when I hooked it up there was only 3.7tb where did my 300gb got to lol if anyone knows this let me know

Ich nutze Sie an meinem PC und finde die USB-Anschlüsse sehr gut. Habe sie schon sehr lange und vor kurzen wieder rausgekramt, weil ich da nach Daten gesucht habe. Leider liegt sie momentan nur im Schrank rum aber sie geht noch. Preis-Leistung ist aber na ja also ich würde nicht die Xbox Version empfehlen sondern die normale (ist schwarz) aber wenn das Design toll findet nur zu. Die USB-Anschlüsse kann ich zum aufladen meiner Elektronikgeräte nehmen.
