Very nice product. Much needed upgrade from the original latch. The lower section of this latch is difficult to install due to the location of the nut that you have to get to. Your need a socket extension to get to it.

I am a firm believer of metal is better than plastic. These are of great quality and you wont have to worry about them breaking like the rubber stock ones.

These latches are VERY high quality. Much better than I thought I was going to get. I own a 2012 2dr Sahara. If you own one too, be prepared for the battle of your life getting the old ones off. There is little to no room to fit your hand in there. Pro tip:remove the wheel well liner and come in from the bottom. That will save you some time. Of course all that has nothing to do with these latches, but just fair warning, they are a real PITA to get off.

This fit perfectly on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler hood! Looks great and it’s holding up well! I’d definitely recommend this, it will spice up the look of your Jeep ;) Trust me

Works exactly as advertised. Really easy to install, but its kinda tricky to get a wrench on it. But its not these latches fault. They are holding tight.

Installed on a 2017 wrangler unlimited JK Grill didn’t not need to be removed to replace the latches though getting my hands into the spot to reach the hardware was a bit tricky. I agree with the reviews that recommend reusing the factory flange nuts - I’m sure I would have dropped the included hardware. The trickiest part was swapping the little rubber piece from the JL to the Jk because I couldn’t get the screws to unthread. I finally figured out that you need to unscrew them just a little on both sides before trying to remove them fully. Nicely made and fit perfect.

This hood latch didn’t fit the hood on my Jeep. I have a Rubicon X with the different hood (see image) and my hood has a large indent where the latch sits. My husband couldn’t get these latches to adjust to properly fit. So they’ll be going to his brother (other Jeep in the picture) since they seem like good quality.
