SimpliSafe Entry Sensor (Pack of 4) - Window and Door Protection - Compatible with The SimpliSafe Home Security System - Latest Gen

I bought this extra sensor because I forget one more window to protect in my basement. I got the main system through Simpli Safe. It is a great system, easy to install, easy to use. I can control it and view the camera with my iPhone or iPad. Blends in very well with the house, you probably not know we had it I didn’t point in out.

Where do I start? How about with the false alarms. The smoke detector, the motion sensor, the door entry sensor, all of them have had multiple issues and caused numerous false alarms. The customer service is so bad that even if they call you to tell you the alarm is going off and you try to call them back you get put on hold, the whole time while police are being dispatched. The app is only available if you pay the full 26 dollars a month by the way, otherwise the system is an old school no frills local alarm only. Then try to cancel, took me three days on hold for multiple hours and only after being transferred twice did I talk to an account specialist who wanted to talk me out of cancelling would they actually cancel. And get this, you get billed 1st of the month, if you cancel before your renew time you get immediately locked out of the app with no partial refund at all for the rest of the month. This companys equipment is poor quality, their customer service worse, and their billing model is probably illegal.

I installed this window/door sensor on the egress window in the basement of my home. The sensor connected easily with the home base which is located on the first floor without issue.

Ive had this system since it was first available. The system was updated last year and I was offered a 40% discount to update mine, so I did. Ive only had a problem one time, a camera went down, a new one was sent out free. Customer service is great and the system is great.

Easy install

Fell off the wall after less than a month. I am glad I was not away and had the alarm go off. Of course, Simplisafe is more than happy to sell you more adhesive strips.

I have Simplisafe in 2 homes. It is easy to set up and very reasonably priced. The few times I have talked with customer service they have been awesome!

After moving to a new home I needed to add more sensors to my house. So I bought two packs of four of these. Upon installation three out of the eight register as having low batteries. I don’t really understand how because you have to pull the battery savor tabs out before you install them. I contacted Amazon and their resolution was to send me batteries to fix the problem. Although I’m happy that they’re making it right it’s frustrating that a brand new product had batteries that were already not good. All of the others work perfect we’re easy to install and my system is up and running perfect. So five stars for the product when it’s working. They are very easy to install and a good value for your money. One star because three out of the eight had bad batteries.
