Greater than one weekWorked perfectly with my 2014 MacMini. Now Ive got a ssd boot drive and I didnt need to disassemble it nearly as much.

> 3 dayI bought an SSD and used this adapter card to upgrade my Mac Mini. Dont forget the correct screwdriver for the screws on the bottom of the case. No joke...I was torn down, upgraded, and booted back up in less than TEN minutes. Super easy upgrade even if youre a novice.

> 3 dayThis did exactly what it claimed to do. It did it perfectly. It was reasonably priced. It got to me sooner than I expected. What could be better.

15-04-2025Like the header says, wow what a difference. I had 75-85 on the blacklabs program and when I switched it over to this part and an old achi 256gb ssd equals 750 throughput. Why doesn’t everybody change this out on their old 2014 Mac mini. This went from a dead dog to a computer that is ready for another couple of years. Sure it’s only been an hour but what a difference.

> 3 dayYou will need to be on High Sierra or later to have native NVME support. I havnt had luck with samsung nvmes but I used a WD Black or Adata ones works with this adapter.

Greater than one weekThis card coupled with a 500 GB Samsung 970 EVO (not Plus) has transformed my 1 TB HDD-only 2014 Mac Mini from a sluggish pain to use into a computer I really enjoy using. Installation was very easy. Make sure you have the special T6 Torx screwdriver with the hole in the middle of the driver head to remove the screws from the bottom plate on the Mini. The two tiny screws included with the card worked perfectly, one to mount the card to the Mini once the card is socketed and one to hold the SSD in the card. MacOS Catalina recognized the SSD immediately so I erased it and formatted Mac OS Extended, then rebooted into Recovery Mode, and followed Apple’s instructions to “unsplit” a Fusion drive so the existing HDD and new SSD work as a single 1.5 TB Fusion drive. Super easy, but you can also keep the drives separate. This card is the single best upgrade available for the HDD-only 2014 Mac Mini.

> 3 dayEasy install. Wasn’t aware that NVME drives sit at a 30 degree angle, so that freaked me out since I thought my drive was bent. Mac mini detected the drive after a format. Used the included adhesive and screw to seat the adapter appropriately. It fit into the logic board easily.
