> 3 dayThis product was something I waited for for a while. It was something most other companies has not had either. As usual Meross did not disappoint. You can dim from either location but is also compatible with all the major assistants out there. I use mine winth Google Home. The Meross ecosystem has a great line of products. Not only is setup in the Meross app super simple, once one product is added to Google Home the rest just automatically show up. Then you just add it to a room. You can not ask for better products. I have single pole and 3 way and single pole dimmer and now 3 way dimmer. I also have their garage door unit. I have had many of these for over a year so I can also say that so far they seem very reliable. I have had power outages and bad storms and they all have survived. You cant ask for a better product.

Greater than one weekInstallation was easy. Mine didnt come with wire nuts so make sure you have 8 or so. The traveller wires are never connected to other wiring, so youll at least 4 for those and this doesnt come with screw connections or quick inserts. The switch is all plastic, I didnt see any metal from the outside, but this isnt an issue for me. The connections were labeled on the back of the switch and the stranded wire folds easily back into the switchbox. The switch design is intuitive, and the little LED indicators to show you the light levels are a nice touch. The paddles still turn the light on and off and the little buttons are just for dimming. I installed this with another smart switch in about an hour, with a one year olds help. Everything was looking good at this point. Adding the switch in the Meross app was troublesome. I couldnt get my iPhone to scan the homekit code, and when I typed in the code, it brought up a hub I didnt recognize. When I selected the hub, it said it couldnt add the device. I didnt check to see what network I was on, maybe that was it. I swapped out the switch, but maybe Ill try it somewhere else where I can mess with it a little more comfortably.

> 3 dayI bought a Meross smart switch to solve the problem I was having with people leaving the kitchen light on in my house. After I would get up and walk over to turn off of the lights they would come right back down, turn them on and leave them on again. With the smart switch I didnt care if the lights were left on anymore. I could use the app on my smart phone or turn them off by voice command. After a few weeks I thought if one is good two is better. I have done three Meross smart switch installations now. After the dimmer install Google Home and Alexa both found it, added it and set up the device for voice control automatically. I cannot tell you how happy I am with my Meross smart switches and smart plugs. The app allows me to setup schedules for lights to come on in the mornings and turn them off after I leave for work. I can turn off the kitchen lights even when Im not at home just because I know what goes on in my kitchen.

> 3 dayThis is a really great switch set for the price. Meross brand has really started stepping it up with their offering and software and this one is another win. You have to be able to install a switch but the steps are clear and simple as well as the HomeKit setup was a breeze. I will definitely be buying more of these when I have a need for more smart switches to install and forget about.

14-04-2025The dimmer is a little off in a sense that when you are dimming the lights at the switch, you may just pass that right dim spot- either its little brighter or to dim. To get the right dim, you can use the app to get a better response. Overall, there isnt much choices for smart dual pole dimmers within a reasonable price. This product works great and I have it set up in two locations with no issues or connectivity.

Greater than one weekI have the three button version (apparently its older?) and sometimes if my internet goes down, it will start flashing red (which makes sense, the app and voice wouldnt work) but the physical buttons also dont work, so its a light switch that wont turn on the lights... When internet comes back, the app and alexa would work, but the switch doesnt until you flip the breaker that controls it and reset it... (call me crazy, but a light switch should work without internet, maybe the new two button version fixes that?)

> 3 dayThese are very good switches, but understand that this two pack does not contain two complete smart dimmer switches. One is a master and one is a slave switch.

> 3 dayI bought these smart switches to control lights in my home. Most of the smart switches went to outdoor lights as it was the best option for me to have the best control of lights I needed to operated remotely. The install is super easy and they connect to my wifi with no issues. Every one that I have installed needed a firmware update immediately after installing but they were operational in minutes. Pairing with Alexa app was also easy and I was turing on and off my lights using my echo dot in minutes after install. They are a little bulky compared to normal switches so make sure you push the wires and wire nuts to the far back of the box you are installing them in or you wont fit them in on the first shot evenly. They do need to be grounded and I had to ground them to a metal electrical box in one installation as I have some older wiring in my home along with some newer but the switches work great and wifi signal is not an issue in plastic or metal boxes. I also love that when the lights are off you see a little red light in the body of the switch. You can instantly tell if the lights are on or off and if it is dark in the room you can easily find the switches. They also make a satisfying click when depressed and I havent had a single issue with any of the switches that I’ve got.

> 3 dayOnce installed it works like a charm! Needed some expert input to get the 3-way function working. Now when it is installed we love it!

> 3 dayThis dimmer is great. All you need is WiFi in your house. No hub is needed like some systems require. The installation was easy, and the eHomeLife app gives you the instructions. Start the dimmer installation via the app before physical installation, because the app tells you all the required steps. You do need some electrical wiring knowledge for installation. If you are not electrical wiring literate, I suggest you find a friend who is. It takes about 10 minutes to install. A single gang white face plate is included, along with good metal core wire nuts. Note that your electric box does need to have the neutral wire for this dimmer to work. The only slight down side is the dimmer only comes in white, but not a big deal as you can see from the picture I included. (The face plate in the picture, I purchased separately.) Interfacing to Alexa (Echo Dot) was easy also (the app gives you the steps), and you can turn on/off the dimmer, and set the light level. Examples: Alexa turn on living room light to 50 percent, Alexa change living room light level to 100 percent. Alexa turn living room light off.
