> 3 dayThese can be a little tricky to install - in my case - the master and slave had to be installed in a certain location and they wouldnt work in the other location. From the wiring alone - you couldnt tell which location was which so It took some troubleshooting to figure out how to get it setup correctly. Once setup though - i have found the Homekit integration rock solid. It hasnt dropped or shown offline and it has worked quickly every time i have opened up my phone and tried it. I also have the Meross garage door opener and having tried several smart products i feel like Meross makes some of the best ones.

> 3 dayThe Meross Smart Dimmer Light Switch does exactly what you think it it: a smart dimmer light switch and nothing more. It is easy to setup (requires neutral wire), configure in the app, and to use. There is trimming on it for your lights that you are using as well. We used this in our bathroom with an LED bulb and an ultra thin LED recessed can light. Previously the HS200 from TPLINK caused flickering, but we did not see any on this switch which did impress us. Smart connectivity has worked perfectly every time with google home and IFTTT. Now onto the question, would I put these throughout our entire house? Probably not because in general, I dont think it looks nice in comparison to TPLINK or Lutron Caseta dimmers. It looks relatively cheap in my opinion especially with the LEDs on the front panel bleeding into the other areas. It also bugs me that the power button is on the bottom instead of the top. As an electrical engineer, I also am hesitant to install something that is not UL certified. It does have ETL certification, but in America, it is UL certification. In conclusion, its a good product that works reliably. It is a good value and if you are on a budget, these will work for you. Note: We were given one free as a review model.

13-04-2025I wired one of these up to a pair of table lamps sharing an extension cord. I cut the plug end off the extension cord and wired a 3-prong power plug so it could be plugged into a wall outlet. Dont try this unless you have a grasp of electrical wiring. Works great with Google after installing the Mecross app. After plugging it in, it immediately wanted to connect to wifi which was done through the app. It connected in 15 seconds and has stayed connected ever since. Google Home takes over the Mecross app and now controls all on-off and dimming functions. I now have lamps I can control remotely. This is the way these devices should be done in the future....no hubs!

> 3 dayGreat dimmable smart switch! The installation is easy for anyone with basic home improvement skill. The mobile app is easy to use but is fairly limited in its features. The biggest gap with this dimmer is that there is no way to disable the led on its face plate, this makes them less than ideal for bedroom. I hope meross can add this to their next firmware update.

> 3 dayThe installation went smoothly. I am very pleased with the looks and operation of the switches. I was concerned that they would be made cheaply due to the price. Both switches function perfectly with a positive feel. In my opinion, they also look good. My wife does not like it when I add smart devices to our home but she is happy with being able to manually operate these. In addition to the application, I use Google Home and Amazon Echo to operate these. The set-up for both was straight forward and work well. I did need to use 2G rather than my 5G WIFI connection. I will be purchasing more of these.

> 3 dayThe install was easy enough that once I showed my 13 year old son how to install the first one, he did the second with me looking over his work before power was restored. The only issue for me was that I read too quick and did not notice I needed to add the Meross skill to my Amazon Alexa and have her discover devices for it to be usable/detectable by Alexa. Love not needing to get out of bed to turn off our master bedroom lights. Now we have an Alexa Routine to help us wake up in the morning with the dim feature.

> 3 dayI installed this switch in my bathroom in about 20 minutes. Note, it does require a neutral wire. Set up is very easy, and the switch does exactly what its supposed to do. One of my recommendations is that the firmware be updated so that when the light switch is off, pushing any of the 3 buttons would turn it on. Right now, the switch only turns on if the bottom button is pressed. For guests that might be fumbling around in the dark for a light switch, they may have some trouble turning this on if they are used to the rocker style switch. My other recommendation is that one of the LED light be illuminated when the switch is of, to aid in finding it in a dark room. My z-wave switches have this option and it can be enabled or disabled. Overall, if youre looking for a single pole smart dimming wifi switch with Alexa and Google control, you cant really go wrong with this item for under $25.

16-04-2025Update: I love this brand and will continue to buy, but they have changed the design of their switches. So now I have 4 light switches that won’t match as I continue to buy and replace old ones. These are great for the money. I’m no electrician but I was able to hook up this 3 gang switch. The far left is a 3 way dimmer. The two on the right are the regular dimmer. Easy to connect to WiFi with the app. Work great with google home. Good instructions. I docked a star bc the LED lights on the switches themselves are a little much. Wish there was a way to dim them.

> 3 dayI needed a smart dimmer for a 3-way switch in my hallway. This unit fit the bill on two fronts, first being a Merross product as I had several others installed already and second being able to control the light using an Alexa Routine. Installation is pretty straightforward once you identify the wiring correctly and get get the main and secondary switches wired in. Not as many dimmer options using the switch, but from the app and Alexa you have the ability to be more granular with brightness levels for the fixture.

> 3 dayThe packaging looks nice, installation is easy and matches that of any 3-way switch and went without a hitch. A normal 3-way switch costs, I guess, 7 USD or so? So the only sales point this has is that it allegedly connects to Apple HomeKit. But it doesnt. Tried seven times for over an hour, out of those seven times it connected once and showed up in Apple Home, the app on my iPhone. We have full WLAN coverage and full bars, no blind spots, WLAN router sitting just underneath a conventional wood framing construction without any interference. Reception is not the issue, nor routing, no VPN or anything else that could be an obstacle. Six times it showed unable to add accessory, one time it added it but remained unresponsive, so actually using it through the Home app is not possible. This leaves us with just walking up to the switch and dimming or switching, which 7 USD do as well. Cannot recommend, save your money, but know there is no proper stand-alone solution to date that works with HomeKit. None of them work, tried all of them, and all of them have their quirks making them unusable. If its due to Apple, well, dont sell it and go with someone who gets the job done, this way its advertising on what you cannot deliver.
