> 24 hourSeemed like good value and practical design with the on-device button for manual operation. Setup with Apple Home App was reasonably easy too, but after ~1 year all my 4 devices stopped working - icons updating or not reachable all the time: Apple Home Kit cannot activate the smart plugs anymore. Resetting, readding and configuring does help for minutes only (while in BT range?).

> 24 hourI bought these to use with the Apple Home Kit app on my phone. I do not have the Hub, so they only operate when Im at home, on the wifi. Setting them up was pretty simple; had one or two that didnt connect right away, but a 2nd attempt sorted that out. I like that I can turn them on/off from another floor and even from the garage so I dont have to walk into a dark house. Once in a while they will stop responding or show they have stopped but Ive only had once instance where a plug refused to respond. Decent functionality for the price, I am happy with these so far.

> 24 hourThis is a great set of smart plugs. I’ve never had a connection issue. You can fit two plugs in one duplex outlet too. Refoss and Meross make some great and affordable HomeKit devices. So if you’re an iOS user these are a great way to make your home smart and have Siri integration for not a lot of money. You can set it up using the home app or the Meross app and these outlets work with all three of the major smart assistants. Alexa, Siri, and google assistant. If you want a smart switch get these.

> 24 hourIve had these for about a year now and used them with Apple Homekit. (I do not want to create an account with meross so I add and control all smart devices using only Homekit.) They have been a big pain in my bum for the entire time Ive owned them - every month or so Homekit showed no response for the outlet so I would have to remove it and then re-add it, which was super annoying. But at least they worked. Starting after the iOS 16 update, they stopped working at all. I can add them to Homekit and it says added successfully, but then within 15-60 seconds it changes back to no response. I have removed the outlets from the Home app and reset all of the outlets several times, but the same thing keeps happening. It says it adds the device, I can see it in Apple Home, and then within a minute it shows no response and absolutely will not work. I have 6 of these things and they are all just absolutely useless wastes of money now. Im really hoping that once the Matter smart devices get released I will have more luck using smart devices in Homekit. But these are unfortunately going in the trash. :-(

> 24 hourReally liked these for a minute. The setup took a few tries, but they worked really well for about two months. Then, out of nowhere, they stopped working. They would work every 1/10 tries, and it seemed to be at random. Then it stopped altogether, and I can’t for the life of me get them to reconnect or reset. Do not buy these, buyer beware

> 24 hourDecent for the price. 3/4 worked correctly and support won’t answer me. Good thing I only needed 3. Generous 3* but cheap so whatever Edit: they eventually responded and are sending a new one. Changing to 5 stars cause I don’t have a problem anymore

> 24 hourI have a lot of experience with Technology as a Network Manager, School Technology Director, Apple Technology Consultant. I have set up many Smart Home Devices with HomeKit, including security cameras, VOIP, Network Media Servers, light switches, door openers, fans, etc. I have not been successful at setting up any Meross or Refoss device with Homekit. I have spent hours on different devices phones and iPads all up to date with the latest version of iOs. I have rebooted numerous times. Made sure that I was connected to a 2.4 GHz network. Reset all devices, forgot other networks, read the instructions again and again. No joy. On the positive side, I have gotten it to work with the MeRoss app on iOS.

> 24 hourRefoss comes from the same far east manufacture as Meross, but cheaper. I don’t know how well Meross works yet, but at this time, Refoss doesn’t work very well. At first, the setup was easy and quick, going through the Apple HomeKit app. But after a few days everything fell apart. I could not reconnect any of my Refoss devices to Apple HomeKit. Refoss/Meross’s own app worked fine during this time, and I could continue to use the devices through their app…but I don’t want to do that, I have enough home automation apps already and just tired of it all. If it doesn’t work well going through HomeKit, Alexa, and/or Google…then it goes right into the garbage, it’s just that easy for me right now. I’ve been in the automation business for a long time and you still get what you pay for. So you go cheap with Refoss, you get cheap service. After a few hours, all my Refoss items finally reconnected back to HomeKit and all was good….but just for a few more days. I also noticed a lot of bot reviews here, so I can’t trust much of them, I would keep that in mind. I hope this review helps somebody. At this time, I cannot recommend this brand to my family, friends, and all who read this review. Happy shopping!!

> 24 hourThese ALL stopped working after about 2 months of use. The first failed after a couple of weeks, and the rest soon followed.

> 24 hourThese have been updating for two days so I can’t even use them. They are constantly updating and they never do anything new. These suck!!
