This product has one of the most difficult set ups I have ever been a part of. Software with this is eLife once you get started it sends the set up process to the Hone app on my iPhone

I wish they were smaller, many are nowadays, but at $10 a piece it’s hard to complain much. I plan to use these with HomeKit and my Christmas decor so I can easily kill the blowup decor and lights with my phone/voice. Ll

Good quality smart plugs. They do not require a hub which is a huge plus. I tried using them with Apple Homekit and with Amazon Alexa. They work with both of these APPs. It was much easier to integrate them with Apple Homekit than Amazon Alexa. Once you set them it is easy to control them with both APPs.

I am delightfully surprised with how easy it is to set them up through Homekit. I was a bit worried at the beginning because I do not want a third party app to set them up, and you really dont want to. Just plug them in, launch the native iPhone Home app and add the accessory to your Home and boom, done in less than 2 minutes. Very responsive too. Now the question is how long will they stand the test of time. Will update this review if they failed sooner than expected.

I see that some people have had difficulty with this and HomeKit. So far I haven’t had any issue with set up or dropping. Just used the QR code, let it identify (this did take a few minutes and sometimes took two tries) and then was good to go. As mentioned, I haven’t had any drop out so far. Maybe I’ve got a more updated firmware than earlier reviewers, not sure. But so far so good--they’re working and they don’t take up excessive space in an outlet as some earlier plugs do, and I’m happy they work with HomeKit. So far so good--if anything changes (i.e. I start to get drop out issues like others have) I’ll update, but happy with the product at this point (after about two weeks of usage)

Very happy with the purchase. I am happy that I can give the outlets more custom schedules than even applehome allows from the meross app. Personally there are times where the device does not respond when I ask siri to turn on, which is a pain, but if i go to meross app i can click it on manually, or just press the button on the device itself. This is strange because i gave 2 of the outlets to my GF and hers never has that problem, so i wonder if its a wifi connectivity issue, perhaps my connection isnt as stable?

These are great when they work, but good luck getting them to work. I have to continually restart my Wi-Fi in order to get them to work. I initially thought it was a Wi-Fi issue, but all my other devices that use Wi-Fi work when these don’t.

Does not work with a lamp that has two bulbs and also does not have a timer do not buy this information is misleading

I was only able to set up 1 out of 4 plugs to work and it only worked a couple times before it stopped. When I received the package 2 of the plugs were in their box the other 2 didn’t have a box at all. Looked like they might have already been used maybe??? I tried to reset them to attempt to repair the plugs but couldn’t reset even after I looked up instructions online since I couldn’t find any reset instructions in the little book they sent.
