> 3 dayI have an older cat that fills his box daily with huge clumps. The cheapy plastic scoops Ive used my whole life couldnt hold up, prompting a search for a solution. Who knew they made these? Why doesnt the whole world know about these? Best thing since sliced bread as they say. Its a bit large for my hands but given the job it has to do, its the best thing ever. Great quality! Stop wondering about it and get one! Its a no brainer.

> 3 dayPluses: It came promptly. The shorter handle than my cracked plastic one is less unwieldy. Definitely more ergonomic. Nice that the handle is gentler than metal. Minuses: As mentioned in headline, I wish the sifting slots werent so wide for escaped bits of poop or pee clods. After a zillion cat litter tries, especially for those of us with allergies or asthma, the zero-clay Garfield corn & something litter is my favorite & you can see if the excretions look abnormal & it makes perfect pee clod sculptures, lol, although occasionally shreds of the edges escape the clod so sometimes dont get picked up 100% first try & slip through the slots. While this scooper feels good, strong, it is so strong that the whole cat box started moving, covering the litter cat throws out on leaving box. Some of my points wont matter to many, Im guessing, but if you have a bad back, knee, muscle weakness, you might want to consider that.

> 3 dayBest litter scoop I have ever used. Much better than plastic scoops and sturdier than some metals ones Ive used in the past. I wouldnt mind if this was a bit smaller, but really no complaints.

> 3 dayI love that it picks up alot of waste at once but I wish the holes were smaller to pick up the little pieces of waste in the litterbox.

> 3 dayUpdated: Ive been using this scoop for a couple months now, and I wanted to update my review with one issue that was not apparent to me at first: The slotted basket is joined to the handle at a bad (i.e. non-ergonomic) angle. What happens is that when you go to collect the poop and then lift the scoop, you have to dip the handle very far downward, sometimes even into the litter itself. Basically, the angle is all wrong. This makes it a lot harder to scoop the litter -- both annoying, and stressful on the wrist and forearm (especially since the metal scoop is itself so heavy). This is actually a big deal, which is why Im lowering my rating to 3-stars from 5-stars. Still, a metal scoop is better than all the plastic ones Ive used, all of which have eventually broken. Original review: There are only two minor issues I have with this scoop, and neither takes away from giving it 5-stars: 1. It is quite heavy. I will get used to it, but my forearm definitely feels it. 2. The hole at the end of the handle is so small that a standard #6 drywall screw cannot fit through to hang it. So, I had to get a little screw hook that would fit. Now, on to the good stuff: This scoop just works, and is incredibly beefy construction. The soft handle is vey comfortable. Another positive is that the leading edge of the scoop is *flat*, and doesnt have any vertical teeth -- some other scoops have a busier design, and that makes them much more likely to trap sticky litter/poop, and much harder to then clean the scoop when needed. The simple design/construction of this scoop keeps it very clean, and when its finally necessary to clean the scoop itself, thats very easy to do.

> 3 dayIf you use certain brands of clay cat litter they will sometimes stick to the sides- and I have broken or bent several scoops in the past in this manner. It was time to replace some trust metal scoopers- due to this bending over time and Im thrilled with this purchase. These mama-jamas are sturdy as all heck and tackle any clump my cat can make- shes a prolific urinator- so makes plenty of sticky messes to clean daily. The holes are a little large- so if you have any little bits that break off they can fall through- I just use the edge lip to carefully pick them and dispose. I will continue to purchase this scooper- if it ever has need to be replaced. I can see it lasting a really long time- as it feels really durable.

> 3 dayI was scooping litter for a neighbors cat which bent my old metal scooper. I received my new Snugens litter scooper and when using it for the first time was amazed by how sturdy it was. It was slightly larger in size than my previous scooper but worked so much better with less effort! I love it!!

> 3 daySturdy and looks ergonomic, but its not the right shape. Tapered end of the handle makes weirdly uncomfortable. Im irritated every time I use it.
