Greater than one weekProduct works great. Saves time from running room to room checking of connection. Especially if you have more that one coax connection to make.

> 3 dayMoved in to a house with a closet full of coax, multiple antennas, and lots of wall ports, and NO guide! This really helped me to sort out and label the endpoints.

> 3 dayI moved into a house with cable everywhere and cable outlets everywhere thanks to several different satellite systems over the years. This device made it so easy and efficient to identify outlets and match it to the cable in the basement where they all end up. You can install all 4 plugs on 4 different outlets at the same time. Then go plug the device into different cables and if youve matched any of them, it will light up with the corresponding color of the plug you used. That means 4x less times going up and down the stairs!

Greater than one weekUsed for mapping and testing for which of a dual cable radio is for the the new single cable. Very noticeable if you have a short. Battery has been going for six months after daily use. Do wish you could turn the mappers around and have a male end but thats just me.

> 3 daywhy not use a AAA or AA battery instead of 4 dot batteries...? Youll need your own barrel connector for the cable at each room location. It does do the job for what I needed it for telling me which cable went to what room. But I would not buy this device again nor would I recommend it
