> 3 dayI wish the folks who built my RV had used one of these tools. There was a connection that had fallen off of a tee inside a wall and the tool helped me to find and repair the flaw in the initial cabling. Now my aerial works just fine.

Greater than one weekUsed for mapping and testing for which of a dual cable radio is for the the new single cable. Very noticeable if you have a short. Battery has been going for six months after daily use. Do wish you could turn the mappers around and have a male end but thats just me.

> 3 dayIve been a cable tech for 5 years, Ive lost count of how many toner pieces Ive lost. This is a great kit for beginners or homeowners because it doesnt cost a lot if you lose one or two! Most houses get 1-4 devices installed so this is ideal for my job. If I need to tone 8 outlets, I just do two runs. Works with my old Klein toners as well! This, in my opinion, has a better build quality than the 4 piece Klein toner kit. The plastic is stronger whereas the Klein kit will bend around in your pocket. Great buy!

> 3 dayIt would be helpful if you offered the Red,yellow, blue and green id remotes by itself. 2 of my I’d remotes aren’t working so I have to buy a whole new tester just to get 4 new ID remotes.

> 3 dayMy house was wired with 3 different groups of coax (satellite, cable, security cams), but not very well labeled. This tool made it a breeze to track down which cables at the panel in the basement went to which jacks, and especially tracing down which of the several cables in the junction box outside the house went where. Just plug the 4 color coded ends onto the jacks you want to trace down, then head to the other end of the cable and plug in each cable until a green light shows up next to one of the colored dots, and you have IDd those 4 jacks. Repeat until everything has been identified and you are done--couldnt be easier. I knocked off a single star because the color coded caps store in a foam piece that is separate from the tool itself, which almost guarantees they will get separated at some point. If the manufacturer had molded storage spots for the caps into the body of the tool itself, it would get an easy 5 stars even if it cost an extra few bucks.
