It does what does, simple, solid, and not much can go wrong with the design. Highly recommend.

easy install. easy operation in both directions. Make sure you have the clearance for the entire set up and this is a gem.

I love these gate latches, but the reason I am only giving it 4 stars is because they dont include all the hardware you need to mount it. The 4 lag bolts that mount to the wood post are not included, so I have to take the gate latch to the hardware store and find the lag bolts that will fit it before I can mount it. Its very frustrating that they dont just include the needed bolts.

The gate latch works great. I have a 6 foot gate so sag is not an issue at this time. Would definitely buy agay.

Farm and Fleet started selling a different brand, and they do not conform to spec like the Speeco. They would not fit my 2 diameter gate. I found a review that said they should have stuck with Speeco, so I looked it up on Amazon, ordered, and it installed perfectly.

This item was returned, not defective, just was bigger than the one I needed. This one is well made and for larger gates (farm gates) and is too big for typical 4 foot tall chain-link fence gates. Still recommend this and the smaller version from the same manufacture/supplier.
