Bought several of these and installed to latch my Countryline gates. Really like the latches. They are economical, effective and relatively easy to install.

I havent installed my gate yet but I see it will work very well and very heavy made.

I have several of these latches and they great for a gate that swings both was. Some of the latches are 13+ years old and hold up great. The only draw back is that some times when the wooden post drys it contracts so I have adjusted the latch with washers under the lag bolts that are in the post.

We put these on all the gates in the yard and horse pasture. They have prevented gates being left open because someone forgot to chain the gates back up. (No more loose horses) They latch by just pushing them shut. Havent had them long enough to know how durable they will be.
