Have several of these now on gates around our property. Work smoothly and just as designed. No issues.

Your animals will NEVER open these, and the small children will not figure them out. They are lockable, and easy to mount with the proper pole sizes. I put one on a swing gate and it allows me to open it either way. I welded them on both pipes, but the enclosed mounting hardware will do a fine job if you want to mount them with u-bolts.

These are the most durable and strong parts of our fence. We have 3 of them on 4, 8 and 10 foot gates. All I can say is they are excellent heavy duty latches.
