Looks like all the 1 star reviews are outdated. This item is being sold and manufactured by [...]. It is a male-female, 6 in, black usb cable. It is fairly stiff and the 6 inch measurement includes the ends. Works for what I need.

The cord itself came shorted, and did not work no matter how many different devices I tried, or how many ever times I wiggled to find the short. Luckily it was cheap. Ended up throwing it away. NOT recommended.

Great product - sure saves your thumb drives - just wish the cord was a little more flexable...
