The whole idea of using more and more wireless devices is based on the convenience of not being tied to short cords. Have you noticed how many so-called wireless devices have 3 feet cords? I bought this 6 feet extension to add to my charging station so I can use a device while it is being charged. e.g. mobile hone, digital camera, mp3 player etc. Charging cords from adaptors SHOULD be 6 feet minimum, 8 feet is desirable. 3 feet is a joke but that seems to be what many designers of chargers and adaptors are going for currently. Its time to rebel and return short cord chargers and adaptors with less than 6 feet of cord. In the meantime this USB extension works great, charges great and allows me to synch with media files on my main computer without everything being clustered too close to the main system.
