> 3 dayGreat value for a well made product. The only improvement that would make the mail box better, would be to make the rear panel a little wider to completely cover the rear opening.

> 3 dayThis is the second Step 2 that I have purchased in 12 years. The intense Florida sun faded the finish and the only reason I bought a new one was to put our best foot forward when selling our home. The new Step 2 was easily installed over the existing 4X4 that I used for the first Step 2 over 12 years ago.Its a fine product made by a company that has a great customer service department. They sent me replacement numbers at no cost after the intense sun dried the adhesive.

> 3 dayA really nice mailbox. Installation was easy and took maybe 30 minutes over the post from the previous mailbox. Very pleased.

> 3 dayWorks well. Bought a little cheaper because of being a open box. Everything was okay and nothing missing.

> 3 dayEasy to install IF you already have a post dug. It is a very roomy mailbox. Seems very weatherproof.

Greater than one weekI had backed into my previous regular plastic mailbox several years ago & broke the door off & cracked the side closest to my driveway so it was jagged each time I reached in to retrieve my mail. Finally decided to replace it. My son-in-law was kind enough to do the job of removing the old one by cutting the old post down a bit & installing this one over the old post. He had no problem as some of the other reviews mentioned. I love my new mailbox...its so nice compared to my old broken one...its spruce green...my favorite color & Im sure the mailman is loving it. My mail is now secure...not falling out onto the ground (which happened periodically) & more importantly...its DRY! We get a lot of snow in up-state NY. The door is magnetic...it also has a pocket below for your newspaper which would make it handy for me except my guy drives up my driveway & places my paper right on my doorstep! You can also retrieve the contents from the back of the box as well. I made a great decision choosing to make this purchase!

> 3 dayI purchased this as a replacement of my original MailMaster mailbox that I installed 3 years ago. I live on a rural road and the frame of my mailbox cracked one very cold day this winter when a plow went through after a huge snowfall throwing a heavy load of snow against the mailbox. Even badly cracked, it continued to stand up against continued snowplow batterings throughout the terrible winter. My choice for a replacement was another MailMaster. These are easy to install, are completely weather resistant (with the exception of being hit by 200lbs of snow moving at 50MPH on a bitter cold day), look very nice and are all plastic so there is no rusting. The only down side is that there is access from both the front and the back. For a rural mailbox in a northern climate, the rear door is generally not accessible for half of the year due to snow. There are times when the mail person inadvertently pushes so much stuff into the box that it pushes the rear door open. When I install the new mailbox I will permanently secure the rear access door so that it can not be opened.
