> 3 dayOur mailbox was accidentally demolished by a wayward trailer the day before Thanksgiving. I went online to order a replacement like the one we had to make up for the $20 Walmart Special the destroyer brought to us....... and found this closest to what we had. And TWO DAYS LATER, including Thanksgiving Day, it appeared! We love Amazon Prime!

> 3 dayWe had to replace our mailbox and chose this MailMaster Plus mailbox because we had this type at our former home and liked it. The price was good, it is sturdy and was very easy to install. We do recommend this mailbox.

> 3 dayInstallation ease depends on the type of soil you are trying to dig 2 feet deep into. For me, it was clay and gravel used as a base under the curb and gutter. In other words, it was awful. The post (Not included) is not cheap with lumber prices these days. Otherwise, the mailbox is waterproof and stays closed during very gusty winds.

> 3 dayI do not like the re-design of the joint between the actual box and the upright post part. My previous one of the same style had plastic push in fasteners not stainless steel screws. If struck by a slow moving vehicle or lawn mower it would come apart and could then be easily put back together with the plastic push pins or new ones purchased locally. I know! I have made the simple repair/reassembly several times. I even considered drilling the new one to accept the plastic pins BUT they redesigned the joint so that cannot now be done. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER LIKE THIS ONE!!!!!

> 3 dayGood product, good price and once you get the 4x4 post in the ground, easy to assemble and install. This mailbox is dark green and hard to see at night...I put reflectors on mine and if youre on a dark road, I suggest anyone that buys the mailbox do the same

> 3 dayGood boxes with complete hardware sturdy enough to withstand careless snowplow drivers a couple years. Door magnets hold better than same model in previous years. Ordered 2 but they are slightly different shade of green, barely noticeable.

> 3 dayWe were looking for a sturdy mailbox after the plow took ours down. We also live in an area where the soil is hard clay so didnt want to dig, pour cement etc. This also replaced the need for a separate newspaper tube. We chose to purchase a 24 inch stake and mount the 4x4 post on to it. The post was 2 ft. Everything went together like a charm and the mailbox is firm in the ground. I know some reviews mentioned the stake method being wobbly but I really think it depends on your soil. The mailbox is clean looking too and not many parts. All in all I think we put thus up in under 15 minutes and has been up for weeks now without issue. Love that it is made in the USA too. I do think when winter comes I will do as many others, put plywood up to protect it.
