This is a product I didnt know I needed until one time visiting my sister I saw her use it when getting ready to store our leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner. I have always hated using plastic wrap because I would wrestle with its sticking to itself and anywhere else except where I wanted it to stick, being very difficult to apply to the bowl I wanted it to cover. When I saw my sister use this device, I was sold. I went home and immediately ordered one. It is easy to use and works perfectly.

This is a great item and worth every penny. I have used Stretch-Tite film from Costco for many years and have always been a little frustrated with the packaging. Yes, it comes with a serrated edge on which to tear off a sheet and also a sliding cutter on a plastic rail that fits over the serrated edge, but it requires opening the box very carefully and feeding the leading edge of the film through a small slot. Yeah, it works, but if the lid gets a little torn or the box gets a little banged up in the cupboard, pulling out a new sheet gets very clumsy. Plus, you have to find and unscramble the leading edge of the film before getting another sheet. Not exactly a life-shattering experience, but annoying nonetheless. The Wrap N Snap 7500 Dispenser avoids all of that. Open the lid, drop in a roll of film, pull the leading edge out over the front of the dispenser, close the lid and DONE. For the next sheet, the leading edge of the film is held nice and straight inside the dispenser, just pull out what you need and close the lid. Nice, neat and clean. The dispenser has enough weight to it and little gripper feet in front so that it stays in place on the counter while in use. Set your dish in front of the dispenser, pull out enough film to cover it, close the lid and wrap. I love it when a device just does what it is supposed to do. Easily worth the price.

I also have bought this as gifts and everyone uses and likes it. Mine has moved with me from one home to another and another and if it were to disappear Id immediately get another one. So today I bought another one as a gift for a foodie that I work with. If you follow the instructions - pull the wrap out and over the container that will be covered, this works well. But if you just pull it off and plan to carry it to the bowl, it wont work. Then you might as well use the tear-off on the box that the wrap comes in. So the trick is to read the instructions and use it that way. There is a separate one for aluminum foil which I also have an also like. In fact, I use that more often as I use foil more often. That is called Wrap Master Foil. Later - Well, it looks like theres no longer a separate one for foil. I checked out the companys web site and it says that theyre out of stock but I think this is permanent. It looks like you can use the plastic wrap type for foil, too. I just checked the two out as I have both and the blades look the same.

Works great. Saves me a lot of money on zip loc bags. I bake a lot of bread. When the loaves are large, I make large sandwiches. Regular baggies are never large enough, and many times not even quart size bags are enough. I have put sandwiches in gallon bags before, but thats wasteful, and embarassing. Using plastic wrap instead is ideal. I had a 750 sq ft roll plastic wrap I bought at Wal-Mart. The rolling cutter was so horrible (even when it was kept free of residue) that it was very frustrating to use the wrap. I got the Wrap n Snap dispenser based on the reviews and am so glad I did. It is a pleasure to use. Always chops the wrap in a straight line, never fails, and no frustration. The walmart roll had over an inch of tube sticking out either end and I had to trim off a good bit on either end (with a bread knife) and it worked fine, but from now on I will buy the Stretch-tite rolls at Costco.

Bought for disabled person, and yes it does cut cleanly, but its hard to press down for me, much less a disabled person.

Im used to keeping a roll of this stuff in a cabinet and bringing it out each time I need to use it (just about every day). This is often when hands are covered in food or whatever so the box gets grungy over time; the box also needs immediate reinforcement with heavy-duty packaging tape or it quickly falls apart. I happened upon this dispenser on Amazon and, since the only cling wrap that Ive ever found worth buying is what Costco sells (Stretch-Tite, two boxes of 750 each bundled together) and since this dispenser describes itself as specifically designed for this brand, I figured this would reduce the chances that Id have to return it as not useful. It works great. Im happy with it. Good quality and very to use. I like the way the lid is perpetually open so my fingers dont have to touch anything at all before grabbing hold of the wrap and pulling it out. The cutting mechanism is also well-designed so I can use even my wrist or elbow to push the lid down, which activates the cutter, before springing back up into open position. I gave this 4 stars only because it does not include a means to attach under cabinets. I dont want any more counter clutter and the counter backsplashes are mirrors and I was reluctant to risk cracking the glass by drilling holes through the mirrors and so I had to improve a solution for this - see pics). For each one of the two support brackets, I used epoxy to attach one 9 90-degree angle bracket to a second 6 90-degree angle bracket to create a large U shaped bracket. I screwed one side into the underside of the cabinet which left a horizontal bar 6+ inches below and parallel to the underside of the cabinet. I attached the feet of the dispenser to each bracket with 3M double-sided tape, which is more than strong enough to keep this baby in place. One satisfied customer.

Ive been using this plastic wrap dispenser for about 3 months at the time of this review. It gets used daily and has held up beautifully to date. Ive always HATED using plastic cling wrap. If you make homemade bread two or three times a week like I do, you probably spend a great deal of time wrestling with plastic wrap and swearing all the while. This little gadget will fix that. It makes it so easy to keep the cling wrap from from folding over on itself until its completely unusable. Simply place the dispenser on the counter next to the container you need to cover, pull the wrap over the top and press down on the top of the dispenser to cut. Voila! Thats all there is to it! No more swearing! The same goes for wrapping loaves of bread; just pull some wrap out onto the counter, measure what you need to wrap the bread, press to cut, and the wrap stays flat on the counter! Easy peasy! And just when you think it couldnt get any better, it does! The product description says you have to buy some special, and Im sure expensive, cling wrap from the manufacturer. Not so. Ive refilled it several times with ordinary cling wrap from the grocery store and it works just fine. The longer rolls wont fit so you need to be mindful of that when youre shopping, but any brand will work with this handy device. I absolutely love this thing and highly recommend it!
