Great day pack. Only gripe is I wish the main internal compartment had pockets or sleeves for storing things. It is just one big space which I have the tendency to just stuff things into.

We bought this to use on a trip to Zion and it was perfect.

Awesome day pack

On the surface this pack looks like it has it all. However as a life Osprey owner and avid hiker this bag fails on so many levels. The hydration sleeve is useless for anything less than 1.0 L. Trying to use the sleeve with Ospreys own hydration bladder barely fits when empty let alone when it’s full without risking rupture. The main storage area is fairly small, bottle holder is useless and doesn’t properly hold anything. The hiking pole attachment is flimsy and it broke on first use.

I have used this in the mountains a few times now, and I love it. Its a great size and weight for day hikes. It has great pockets as well. The compartment for my water bladder was a bit hard to fit initially, but seems to have maybe loosened up a bit at this point. I think this has been a great purchase so far.

I am 63 in 215 lb. I bought this Talon 22 thinking it might actually fit me after a discussion with the customer service people at Osprey.

Size is perfect for my needs (Day hiking). It’s well constructed and so far I’m very happy with it.

Ive owned just about every major brand of daypack on the market, and I keep coming back to Osprey. Finding the perfect daypack has been something of an obsession for me, and I think I finally found it in the Talon.
