> 3 dayIve owned just about every major brand of daypack on the market, and I keep coming back to Osprey. Finding the perfect daypack has been something of an obsession for me, and I think I finally found it in the Talon.

Greater than one weekGreat pack from a great company. My only complaint is that both the sm/med and large/x-large are labeled the Talon 22. But the sm/med pack isnt 22 liters as the name implies. You have to buy the larger pack to get the size that the naming implies.

> 3 dayThe pack is fine, however I wish I would have believed the reviewer’s who said the hydration bladder was hard to put in. A 2 liter bladder will barely fit through the opening when filled up. I wouldn’t buy it again

Greater than one weekOn the surface this pack looks like it has it all. However as a life Osprey owner and avid hiker this bag fails on so many levels. The hydration sleeve is useless for anything less than 1.0 L. Trying to use the sleeve with Ospreys own hydration bladder barely fits when empty let alone when it’s full without risking rupture. The main storage area is fairly small, bottle holder is useless and doesn’t properly hold anything. The hiking pole attachment is flimsy and it broke on first use.

> 3 dayNot as comfortable as most of the reviews. Very cumbersome, drink bottles are hard to get in and out, unless your an octopus. Straps are irritating to use. Runs small. Trekking poles holder sucks and was broken. Not a good bag for a long day hike. Flatlanders will probably like it. I returned it for REIs traverse 32 and couldnt be happier. Same money, more room, easier to use. So many more options, much more comfortable and supportive, lighter, holds alot more gear sensibly, and well balanced. Drinks are a breeze to get in and out on the fly. Perfect backpack for scaling New Hampshires white mountains.

> 3 dayI have used this in the mountains a few times now, and I love it. Its a great size and weight for day hikes. It has great pockets as well. The compartment for my water bladder was a bit hard to fit initially, but seems to have maybe loosened up a bit at this point. I think this has been a great purchase so far.
