This LED strip was just what I needed to brighten up the area inside and under my camper cabinets. I bought the soft white strip and am very pleased. The light strip is covered with a clear silicon rubber that makes the entire string very flexible, durable, and waterproof. Safe places to cut the strip are marked on the strip, making it easy to cut to length. Any length can be cut, as long as you cut where indicated. I cut three lengths to install in/under my cabinets. I cleaned off the clear silicon rubber covering to expose the solder pads with an exacto knife and easily soldered wires to the strip. The power and ground wires can be soldered to any set of pads anywhere along the string and it will power the entire string. Make sure to make the proper pos and neg connections, as LEDs are sensitive to polarity. Polarity is marked on the strip. The adhesive back sticks very well to a smooth surface. Very low current draw. Perfect for my installation. I have plenty left over and am looking for other places to use it!

I like that its narrow, but it doesnt adheres to well.

Im using this to light my 4 x 8 Trump/ Pence sign. It lasts all night on a gel cell battery and was easy to install. Something that should be noted is that is that there are regular black/ red wire on the end opposite the connector making it easy to hook up to a battery or other power supply. Its been holding up well to the weather.

No idea how they are because I failed to see they came with no adapter or any advice on where to find an adapter that would work. My fault, caveat emptor.

I have ordered 3 reels of these lights for my boat to accent the living area. They are nice and bright. One package came with no connectors or instructions, luckily I ordered connectors separately. The second package had instructions and connectors but the inconsistency could diminish this products quality. The adhesion was the weakest point. Please use 3m adhesion only. I had to tie wrap these to some existing lights I replaced. Once I got through that the lights add positive atmosphere to our boat with just under 2 amp draw for 1.75 reels.

Cost

These lights are very easy to install (if you buy the adapter) and they are much brighter than I expected them to be. They arrived three days after I placed the order.

Brighter than I thought. I have not found a use for this super green laser looking light but I still plug them in every day just to see the green lights. I find the green light soothing for some reason, idk why. If I would have been given the option I would have wanted a power supply provided with the light but I always have one laying around. I also think I would like to have one of each of the other possible colors available to see how each one effect my mood, weird I know but interesting.

I wrapped this LED around a retail fixture and it tore at every corner. I have a lot of experience with LED tape and I have never used one I could tear with my hands.

The recommended 2A 12v power supply is barely adequate for the full strip. Although it may work, good luck not burning out the supply. I wouldn’t run the full strip on less than 2.5 A. The LEDs use 4.8 watts per meter. Plan accordingly. Rule of thumb is use 80% of rated power max.
