Just opened and played and skipped in many places. Cleaned it with a duster and found multiple scratches. Can’t even lites to a song without it skipping Worst product I bought

This is an endless treasure box of surprises and treats, like the deluxe re-issue of Sargent Pepper. Beatles fans: save your pennies, or do whatever it takes to buy this! I have the original vinyl issue, and will (of course) retain it, but at this point would pull it out only on a lark for comparison purposes. The re-mastered cuts are gorgeous, with layers I never heard in all my listenings before. The Esher demos are an intimate glimpse of the Beatles creation process. I only have two quibbles, both having to do with the otherwise wonderful book (the depth and heft of which was itself a pleasant surprise): it lacks an index, which would be a great help, and there is no - unless Ive overlooked it - technical discussion of the re-master process of the discs (talking about the cds and Blu-ray here). Specifically, a discussion about the various versions of the recordings on the Blu-ray is mysteriously absent - that was also lacking from the Sgt. Pepper set, by the way. This would have been helpful to those of us who are not highly knowledgeable about the technical advantages and disadvantages or each, etc. But certainly those critiques in no way argue against the high value I place on this release. Get it!
