Ive tried multiple brands of zinc, specifically for acne. This one has worked best for me. Ive read the best one for acne is zinc picolinate. I find it reasonable for the quantity and price when compared with other brands. Im on my 6th month of taking it and still no complaints! I find it necessary to say I take a variety of preventative measures for dealing with acne, and zinc is just one of them. It is not a miracle pill on its own.

My immune system has greatly weakened since battling cancer, and I was not healing very quickly, zinc is good for so many things. It is good in cold prevention, reversing heart disease, fights free radical damage, hormonal imbalance, getting sick often, always tired, good for the eyes, skin and hair, plus many other benefits. Zinc deficiency is common around the world. Being a mineral it can be hard to absorb, especially for people with digestive disorders.

Ive had a really hard time finding zinc picolinate (or orotate) capsules vs. tablets, as I dont want to be ingesting a bunch of starches or fillers with my supplements beyond the gelatin capsule they come in. Ive purchased several of Thorne products now without realizing they were all from the same brand, because it was my highest priority to find high-quality supplements without any added ingredients. Now I feel confident in trusting Thornes quality and have started looking for their products when I search for supplements and vitamins.

In general I dont do reviews for supplements because the only way you can tell if a supplement is of good quality is to test it in a lab. That being said, I have found that my doctors tend to carry the Thorne brand and/or recommend it.

Its hard to find any zink in the stores let alone the good stuff. I received this just a few days after ordering it. Very happy with this product and the service I receive.
