> 3 dayWe have used these Treatlife (TL) outlets, and one other, TL compatible outlet, for about 3 years now. We have them installed at our home and in my sons home. The App is easy to use and you can group devices by location. We can access both homes from ANYwhere there is internet. You can program timers by day, multiple on/off sessions. The outlets have a button for local control. The only application that (eventually) failed was a restaurant espresso machine which probably was too high amperage. However you can get higher power outlets that interface with TL so everything is accessible from the App. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayAs a disclaimer, Treatlife offered these products for evaluation. I really like the small form factor. The other outlet remains available for a many cord types (such as a computer cord or power strip). A number of the smart plugs that Ive tried always block the 2nd outlet. If you have a large wallwart that almost blocks the next plug, then it probably wont fit next to this device. I also really like the current rating on this device. Im used to seeing 10A ratings on many devices at this price point. With a 15A rating, this can safely switch high power devices such as space heaters. As a test, I plugged an electric kettle into it. After boiling some water, the switch was still working fine and I didnt feel any heat coming from the switch. The one weakness I found was the Treatlife App. Its not quite as intuitive as a number of the competitor apps. For example, Im used to being able to long press on a device to bring up advanced options such as setting a schedule. Instead I simply got an error message about BLE not being supported. Additionally, its very obviously using the cloud when turning on and off. I frequently was running into 3-5 second delays between changing the state in the app and when the device actually responded. Finally, for folks who like to use open source local control (such as Home Assistant and Tasmota), it doesnt look like these plugs are supported yet. Update: I just noticed that this plug seems to have much better range than my other smart plugs. I was seeing intermittent connections at around 60-70 from my router. Relatively stable connection (minor packet loss) at around 45 from the router. At the same time, I noticed that a scheduled turn on didnt work when disconnected from wifi.

> 3 dayI have been using mechanical lamp timers for years and they never lasted long. Ive tossed a few when they developed an annoying tick. They are not easy to reprogram, bulky. This mini smart plug was the perfect solution if you have a smart phone. Easy to install, easy to program, and instant control no matter where you are. Great purchase. I have 4 of them and a smart switch now. Life is easier.

> 3 dayThis works just like the GE outlet that came with my Google Mini. Easy to use, just how it should be. The only issue I found is in the installation. In the Treatlife app, the outlet is found right away and pops up in a new window on the bottom. When I installed this way, I was unable to turn it on by the app, only by the physical button. Dont use that new window. You have to back out of that window. Install it manually, like you would any other device (with the + symbol). After installation, I was able to turn it on by the app, and the physical button. If you install like that, youll have no problems

Greater than one weekPlugs were easy to install and use. But, one of the 4 plugs stopped working just short of a month after setup. And did not start again after reboot.

> 3 dayThis is my second purchase of these Treatlife outlets because they just work without issue with Alexa. I am now in the process of replacing the big smart outlets made by the other company. that dominated the entire wall outlet. I like that the Treatlife outlet only takes up the space of one plug on the outlet so the other plug can be accessed. Installation is simple just plug it in to your existing outlet, plug in the device you want control then activate and name the device in the smart Life app. The Treatlife products dont drop the Wifi connection like other brand I have used and integrate perfectly with Alexa, a great combination. These are also working terrific in my shop where I can now turn on a vacuum or other tools by voice command to Alexa. These plugs handle 15 amps which is sufficient for most of my needs.

> 3 dayI have a light switch connected to an inconvenient outlet, so I plugged one in there, and a second to a lamp elsewhere, and programmed a rule that when the light switch one turns on the other turns on the lamp and it works perfectly ❤️

Greater than one weekVery compatible for Apple I phones. I really like the shape of the sockets and how easy they are to set up. I have some round smartlife smart sockets but they render the plugin next to them useless. The Treatlife sockets are a more compact design and allow other plugins to be used next to them. They are fine wifi without Alexa and the software is a little different but still very easy to use also. Its best to set them up before using them to allow visual line of sight to the pairing light that blinks bc it gets covered up by an overly large plug on a device. The timer feature on the software works very well and i use them on Aquarium lights and aquarium heaters. I time them for daily timing to reduce algae growth in my tanks. Great price for a well designed smart socket and software.
