NOTE: I received these at no cost to review. I have purchased several Treatlife products (smart switches) in the past and used the SmartLife app to configure. These devices came with instructions to configure using the Treatlife app, and to enable a skill and link to my Amazon account. I had not done this before so I reached out to customer support for clarification and they were helpful and timely. Once configured, I was able to easily recognize and use Alexa for voice control. I tested the timer function and it works great. I tried using the smart plug with a Levoit Air Filter. It would power on then power off immediately (reason for 4 stars). Not sure why. I tested all four plugs with a large fan, small fan, and two desk lamps. These all worked OK. A good deal when buying 4 for under $22.

My Treatlife wall plugs work and my wife especially likes them. She says she loves walking out of the bedroom in the early morning and finds the living room and den lit up. The scheduler and timer is the thing that we both like. However, getting the plugs into the network was not easy. The supposedly easy directions to get the plugs found and on the network were neither easy nor clear. I believe that the only reason I got mine on the network is because I refused to be bested by a programmable wall socket. The problems that I found with the directions follow: 1. There were no directions about finding the reset switch 2. The time to hold the reset switch to get the item reset was much longer than printed in the instructions 3. The sequence of instructions to add the device to the network was not correct. I kept playing with the devices to get them recognized by the network until I got them on teh network. I had four wall plugs and they had to be independently added to the network. The sequence of events to get each one on the network was a little different. However, once I got each of them on the network, they have worked without issue since then. The program to set the timers works as expected and has not had an issue since the timers for each module were created. The instructions for adding the timers was not clear either. When you want a wall plug to turn on and stay on for a period of time, you have to create two different schedules. The first schedule will turn the wall plug on the second will turn the wall plug off. There is no way to create a single schedule to turn the plug on for a period of time and then turn it back off. In summary, once you get the Treatlife wall plugs on the network, they seem to work fine. However, getting them to work on your network can be tricky. The instructions enclosed with the modules is not detailed and does NOT work as described. Once you get them on the network, however, they seem to work with no further issues.

These smart plugs work great. They are simple to install. Just download the app, hold the power button down for about 5 seconds and the app will find it automatically. Once the plug is pared there is a bunch of option automation. You can set schedules (even based off of when the sun sets), timers and control it with both Alexa, or google. There are little details they have added that I didnt expect to find on a budget smart plug, for example there is a little LED that lets you know when the plug is on, helpful, but if it is bugging you can disable it in the app. Also you can turn on child mode so that if the power butter is pressed over and over it will stop working. I have 4 kids so I know that will happen sooner than later. Adding it to the Alexa app was a little tricky but that more because I think the Alexa app is confusing. Like I said though, theyre great little plugs that just work like they’re supposed to.

I have used their Smart Switches before and was looking forward to getting the Smart Plugs. Was able to set them up within minutes of receiving them. They were very easy to setup. Was using mechanical timers earlier and had to run around the house and reset them each time the power went out. Update after one week of use: Was trying to use the Schedule feature as a timer. Was easy to setup but the entries keep getting turned off randomly everyday. Cant use them at all in a reliable manner. Tried to get help but got no meaningful help. I am going to be returning these and have ordered a set from another manufacturer. Update after several months of use: You can get around the Schedule issue by using Cycle Timer. They perform the same function and do not get randomly reset as the Schedule function.

I have been a user of smart home products for 10+ years. More recently, there are many wifi-connected devices available that are more flexible and much more affordable. Ive tried several different smart plugs, and have been impressed with the Treatlife offering. They are easy to setup, program, and work reliably. Im also glad that they work with the generic Smart Life app, as some of the others will only work with their own proprietary variant. The Treatlife app is quite good on its own. It also handles a full 15 amps, some of the others will only switch 10 amps, which could contribute to the wide form factor, which is the only downside I have found with the product.

WOW! I have never purchased smart products outside of my Amazon Alexas and Google Home Mini, but I have to say that TREATLIFE has knocked this one out of the park! The amount of features that the phone app has is quite astounding. Given the sheer number of products within this category by several different brands, it can be quite daunting when you decide to purchase this type of tech. Rest assured that TREATLIFE has your back. Also...one of the biggest things to look for is a solid phone/tablet app experience when purchasing these smart devices. If the app is trash...the product is a no-go in my book. My experience with TREATLIFEs app has been great! Its lightweight, easy to use, and basic! You want a certain level of complexity when setting up smart devices, but not to the point where it is a chore. This review is for the 4-Pack smart plugs. I have connected 2 of these units so far and they have worked seamlessly! The 1800W 15A power limit is absolutely crucial for people such as myself as I have several high end electronics that can draw anywhere in the neighborhood of 100-700w over long periods of time (ex. My PC featured in the photo). Having peace of mind that I can turn the outlet off thats connected to my UPS (uninterruptible power supply) thats connected to about $5000 in equipment is a life saver! Should I ever go on vacation or need to go out of town, I know I have a solution that will bring piece of mind relating to surges or fires. Overall...A+ product, APP, and price! Way to go TREATLIFE! I cant wait for future products!

I have the light switches and was using WEMO. However, with a mesh system wemo kept losing “connection”. I got some inexpensive outlets and soon found out that they only allow six connections. After my experience with treatlife’s customer service, I bought these. They work amazing. No issue with disconnections, and I added everything to the smartlife app. I love them. The only concern I have (admittedly I don’t know if it’s an app issue) is the 24 hour clock. I would like a 12 clock.

First of all, they dont integrate directly to Alexa. They require a seperate app to initialize and a skill for Alexa so they can talk to their server. Their signal is weak and devices within 50 ft of the router dont always respond.
