> 24 hourWorks, although the switch seems a little touchy. Three stars because I dont like the cabling locations with output on front and input on back. I prefer all cables on the back for routing purposes so I ordered Tek Republic TSU-200 as a replacement. Since I am using this to switch a keyboard between two computers, the cabling makes it difficult to put the box on the desk without wires taking up a lot of the real estate. Also, the labeling of input and output is confusing. In my case, the output is the keyboard with two inputs (the computers). As you can see in the questions and answers, this confuses people. Common, A, B or Common, 1, 2 would be more accurate.

> 24 hourAllows me to effortlessly share a USB wireless mouse and keyboard between my home computer and my work laptop. Since my home computer monitors have multiple inputs, I can run my home computer to one set of inputs (DIsplayPort) and my work laptop to another set (HDMI). The UGreen switch lets me use the full-size keyboard and mouse from my home PC on the laptop without having to swap the USB receiver between computers.

> 24 hourIve been using it a little over a month now, and it works great for my needs! I use a 4-port USB hub with it so I can switch up to four devices between my work computer and personal computer. I usually only have one computer on at a time; so when I do turn it on, the switch defaults to that computer and I dont have to do anything to start using my devices. When I do have both computers on and I want to switch to the other one, I sometimes have to press the button twice before it switches. Thats kind of annoying, but it still works well. Also, the input/output naming seems to be reversed, at least for my thinking. You plug your computers into the input side, and devices into the output side. The way I think of it, the device is the input to the switch, and the switch sends the connection out to the computer. But in the end, I dont care if it calls one side foo and the other side bar, as long as it works as described--which it does!

> 24 hourThe switch is manual but works. Occasionally I have to turn the printer off and back on. If one of the computers is off and I turn it on while the switch is assigned to the other computer, I will have to turn the printer off and back on to use it with the computer I started up.

> 24 hourWorks great with the right mix of simplicity and functionality for the price point. Bought to streamline my work-from-home set-up for mouse & keyboard sharing. I specifically chose this one because it doesnt require external power like some others. Switching is simple with a minimal blue LED indicator. It does appear to have auto-switching when it detects connection with a new device, and I havent had a problem with it acting out. The one nit that I might have for this product is placement of the USB ports. I would prefer all of the ports to all be on one side for better cable management and table placement for button access. Most other options I found were too expensive/had more PC connections than I needed, had an unattractive form, or required external power (therefore extra independent plug). Ive only used this device with mouse-and-keyboard. I cant comment on how it performs with other devices. I noticed that if your mouse/keyboard is compatible with key mapping software and has ability to store an onboard map, you may need to unplug-replug the device when you switch to a computer that does not have the software (like your work computer) before it registers and runs the onboard map. Although there is only one USB device port, it is easily expanded with any USB hub. Obviously if you had to buy a USB hub to make your set-up work, that would be an additional cost consideration. I just used one I had on hand.

> 24 hourUsed this to hook up one printer to 2 computers and it works like a charm. Push the bottom to switch from one computer to the other and done.

> 24 hourI needed a device to connect my mouse and keyboard to a Mac Mini and PC. I obviously misread the description.and was surprised when the item arrived and noticed that it had only one input. To resolve the dilemma, I connected my powered USB hub to the one input and then connected my mouse, keyboard, scanner, and camera to the hub. It all works quite well. I was really happy that I misread the item description.

> 24 hourSeveral years ago my desktop computer died. I didnt replace it, I just used my laptop for every thing. I recently bought a new desktop computer, but I didnt want to install an accounting program on the desktop. It was a pain to constantly move my printer cable between devices. I am older and not comfortable installing tech things. I knew there had to be something out there to solve this problem but I didnt know it was. A search on Amazon lead me to this switch box. I ordered it, but was concerned I might have trouble setting it up correctly. It was so easy to set up I didnt even need to look at any directions. I plugged my printer cable into the switch box and then plugged the two cables that came with the box into the box and then plugged a cable into a USB port on each computer. Problem solved!
