Love this bag, you can get alot in this bag, great for overnight or long trip

I love this bag!! I own over 20 VB bags, two duffles and one zip tote but this weekender is the nicest overall. Reasons I love it: It is large like a duffle but more travel friendly with many pockets inside and out, has a shoulder strap, a strap that hooks onto your luggage handle, is wide enough to pack a lot in but still fit under the airplane seat, very well-made, the whole thing zips as well. I cant wait to use it as a carry on bag to Europe but plan to use it for weekend getaways as well!

Love, love, love this bag! I bought it to fit under the seat of a small commuter plane for weekend trips. I have plenty of room for everything and I can even throw in a flat iron and curling iron! The inside pockets keep smaller items in place, leaving room in the center for shoes and clothes. Im a short person and it was comfortable to carry. I like that it has the option to slip it over the handle of other luggage.The fabric is so bright and cheerful that Im back to buy some other pieces in this fabric.

Was looking for an attractive carry-on bag with a contrasting inner lining. This was as close as I could find that met that criteria. I chose Vera Bradley as I have had a number of V.B. bags over the last 20 years and have always been happy with each one, no matter the style or fabric choice. This bag will be useful for travel with its roomy interior and detachable shoulder strap, along with shorter handles. But I am so disappointed with the outer fabric as the design has a faded appearance. This pattern does not have the bright colors all of my other V.B. bags have had. This pattern is pretty enough but it is dull and drab even though the pattern is complicated and busy. I compared this fabric to another V.B. bag that is several years old and this newer bag appears to have been washed repeatedly and the colors dim and worn. It seems the company has cut costs in materials now and unless the new fabrics are better quality and have the former brightness I will not feel the higher cost of these bags worth paying anymore.

I’m excited about this bag. My bag is the old Havana Dots pattern, which is very fun and discontinued. This Weekender is the older style with the removable hard bottom and the pockets are quilted instead of the thin mesh they are using on the newer versions of this bag. The inside is not cotton, which I would prefer, but it is nice for the satin-like fabrics Vera is using now. I think it will be the perfect size for weekend get-a-ways. I think for the great price, it is definitely a 5 star!

I wanted to like this bag when it arrived. I loved that it had structure and a sleeve to slip the bag securely on my carry-on rolling suitcase. When I tried to put the handles on my shoulder or the carry strap across my body, or just carry the handles with my hand, it seemed really awkward. I returned it simply for this fact and decided to keep a different style bag.

Used it for a 3 week road trip ( along with a small piece of luggage). Cant wait to use it for airplane travel ( perfect size for carry on). Already bought 2 matching smaller bags for cosmetics and face care products. LOVE it from a very picky buyer.

I have one of the compact weekend travel bag, which I have taken on numerous airplane trips. I love how it fits under the seat of all different aircraft types. On a recent overseas trip to London, though, it was just a bit too small for all I wanted to carry onboard the plane. This size is just a little bit larger, and holds what I want without stuffing and still fits under the seats. Definitely a Goldilocks bag....just right!

Just got mine today, the perfect size, perfect amount of pockets needed for just a 2-3 weekend trip, it’s authentic and it’s got two pockets in the front (the second largest can fit an iPad, likely the air 7th generation which I have or slightly bigger), it’s got two inside pockets, technically 3, but one is divided. It’s got the right amount of padding for a carry-on, and it’s got a waterbottle pocket! Although the color is darker than the picture, very satisfied with my purchase, and for $60? What a STEAL.
