> 3 dayOur baby/pet gate couldnt reach the side walls as it was just a few inches short in each side. The wall nannies were exactly what we needed! Now the gate fits and the walls are protected!

> 3 dayBeen using two small boards to hold my gate up for six months. Just couldnt find an extention anywhere and when I went to order one online but could only find them for like $30. My gate only had a two or three inch gap to be effective so I gave these a shot and I only wish I had done it sooner. They work like a charm and I wont have to put holes in my walls anymore because they grip the walls. The only thing is like most things if your child is really ripping on it or slamming it they can come a little loose and the whole gate came down once the first week but other then that its been great.

> 3 dayMy dog used to be able to push the gate over, because I could not set the gate with enough tension. The dog is just too strong. With the wall nanny, the gate doesn’t budge, and my dog can no longer push over the gate. My walls are safe. However, it’s true. It takes two people to install. I did it by myself with more difficulty. Not impossible. Just frustrating. But it’s not a fault of the product itself. That’s just the way it is.

> 3 dayI love these new extension Wall Nannys! Ok... so I run a dog rescue. We have gates everywhere! One of my pet peeves is volunteers leaning on the gates causing the screws that lead to the wall to bend. grrrr! The extensions for the gates are too wide... in every gate I purchase... so the screw part is fairly long making it easily bendable. When I found this Wall Nanny with the extension part (by accident I might say)... I was so excited! Now... when volunteers lean on gates... the extension Wall Nanny wont allow it to bend. Love it!

> 3 dayThese were very easy to install, however they do add a few inches which I should have checked (my fault) but I think theyre great and protecting my wall! Hopefully when removed they dont leave marks.. but I wont know until theyre removed in years to come :)

Greater than one weekThese were exactly what I needed. I installed a baby gate in a hallway to keep our new puppy contained. The gate didnt come with an extender piece and the threaded spindle rods holding the gate tight against the wall were stretched to their limit. I used 4 of these (one on each spindle) and they are working wonders. The gate is now a tight fit and the spindles are not screwed out so far. The extenders grip the wall and baseboard very well, they prevent damage and keeping the gate firmly in place.

> 3 dayThe Nanny Extenders are very sturdy and easy to use. I ordered the 4. We needed to put up a small gate to keep our new puppy out of the hallway and bedrooms. I could not find a gate the correct size, so I ordered the extensions. As you can see in the photo, I only needed to use 2 of the 4. Without having the extensions available, my only option was to order a gate the correct size that had to be screwed into the walls. These do the job, as my puppy does jump up on the gate, and it has held fast. They do NOT leave any marks or damage to the walls. I would recommend either size even just as protection for your walls.

> 3 dayI must have the the most uncommon stairway opening because I cannot find a gate that fits exactly in the opening. Either the gate is too big or too small. Even the gates with various extenders do not work out very well. I finally settled on a gate that came close. It came with a 4 and 10 inch extender. 10 inches was about too big by an inch. The 4 inch extenders still left too much space on the sides. These nanny extenders added an additional 2 inches on both sides, so now the gate fits tightly in the opening. Havent had any issues so far. I could easily knock down the gate if I tried, but our baby shouldnt be able to knock this down even with the extenders.

> 3 dayThese gate extenders are a very good idea, and nicely designed! Using all four extenders, we were able to mount the pet gate across a rather wide opening that was just a bit too long for the gate alone. However, the description of these Wall Nanny extenders is somewhat inaccurate; each extender will add only 2” to the coverage, not the 4” described! In other words to add the full 4”, you will need to use TWO Wall Nannies, not one. Also (and finally), although they come with a screw hole to attach it more permanently and securely, no screws to do do were sent in the package, and no written alert to let us know that was either possible or suggested! Add screws and instructions!
